Congratulations to all the players on making All-State.
I cannot believe more coaches won’t participate in voting. It’s not even that much effort

With the players around him he was certainly set up to be, would like to see how he could handle double and triple teams on slmost every possession like Faulkner did, makes a HUGE difference when there are multiple options on your team to score. Not to mention play defense and hrlp renound with a 7 footer and 6-8 guy.

PHSForever Wrote:Ridiculous that Wyatt Bataille wasnât even honorable mention? Congrats to all the players chosen, but I have a hard time respecting this poll when heâs not even MENTIONED. Josh Moore said only on two ballots and that eastern Kentucky was âas well represented as other regions of the stateâ in terms of how many returned ballots. I have to see that to believe it. If true, then the voters were blind, crooked, and/or just blatantly favoring other players. Iâm a Pikeville fan heâs, but any objective person could plainly see he deserves to be on this. For the record, I thought JR Tackett deserved to be as well. At least HM
I dont recall Josh Moore saying that East Ky was well represented. He did say that he wished every region would at least have 6 ballots returned. In Wyatt's case, only 2, TWO ballots were even sent in from the 15th Region. Both of those ballots had his name on them. They were sent in by Floyd Central and Johnson Central. Wyatt's own coach didn't even send in a ballot.

So wrong only two Coaches from 15th voted... A real injustice to Waytt.... And maybe a couple of others.... Anyway we all know Waytt he should have been there...the Principals of each school should be questioned on why they deglected the young men.....

It takes only a few minutes to vote. Wyatt and J.R. Both are all-state players. You don’t need a piece of paper decided by a few coaches to know that. Let these two go 2 on 2 against any two on the list and see where they stand. Name on paper doesn’t mean anything compared to performance on the court. IMO

I have no way of knowing who the actual voters were that returned ballots. Would love to see that be public. But regardless, he should have at a minimum received honorable mention, and so should Tackett from Floyd Central. Kid was straight up a baller.

Kevin Spurlock even replied to that tweet cause he was upset about Wyatt and his own kid not making it. Regardless, like it's been said already, we all know they are All-State players.
