Monster upset. I would've thought before the tournament that Mercer was the favorite but that maybe 4 teams could've won it. Southwestern was not one of those 4. They were beat 39-24 in the district title game then put together 3 big upsets to go to Rupp. Congrats to the Warriors.

I saw the replay on the news. Games like that, Corbin vs south final, etc. are what make basketball in Ky special. People can say what they want about it being a “weak” state tournament but how many players or fans would love to be where SW, Corbin, or Estill is right now?
