Andrew Taylor snubbed by media?
KYHoopsFan71 Wrote:Working for the Federal Govt is not that difficult. What, you think the jobs are congressional appointees? All it takes is a matching job skill and patience to navigate their terrible USAJobs application procedure and months long background check.

I work for the VA and know how it works. You give me a break.
I come to the VA in Lexington often. I hope it wasn't you that was rude to me at Leestown one time Confusednicker:
Bossdaddy 4115 Wrote:I didn’t say it was that difficult, didn’t say trump had to sign off on it either. So you need to give me a break, as do most other jobs they have internal postings and if it gets filled internal first they don’t have to post it external.

Wrong. External candidates are interviewed. Veterans get either a five or ten point preference. Ten points for service related disabilities. All jobs are required to be posted. But, like I said, Fed is just as much being plugged into the right people. I’ve tried to move to a position in Somerset for the past two years. For one position, they hired from outside.
pjdoug Wrote:Can your mother in law help me find a small piece of land for about $1,000?

For that price range it will probably be in southern Whitley. I can sell you a small tract for that of mine.lol
Bossdaddy 4115 Wrote:Rally the troops, Corbin needs a boost in home sells and new construction.

Corbin wont sell more homes when the agreement ends. employment and housing is what draws the recruits.
Rainingthrees Wrote:Stewart comes from lca because parent gets a postal job that opens up! Apparently there wasn't any qualified people living in Corbin for this position Smile

South Laurel was the school that had someone in his ear trying to get him to go there, so he could have been on the other side last night. His parents wanted him in the Corbin School System though.

Well that may be the case, I don’t work with you. Doesn’t make much sense to hire off the street for a management position. Seems like that they would hire management internal and replace them with off the street.
Bossdaddy 4115 Wrote:Only bs here is that we are going door to door, our program speaks for its self. transfers come to Corbin we don’t have to go get them

That's where I want it at. Where is it? Smile

It will because they don’t have to change jobs to come from surrounding areas just home location.

Probably second cousin to Andrew Griffith.

No, but I’d love to have a job over there, it’s laid back.

I work at Cooper

Well now!! This explains everything. The VA’s a mess. You’re arguments are, well a.....

I’m sure they did, just like they wanted the Sanders kid at Corbin

I come to both places. Leestown is definitely more laid back than Cooper Drive.

Are you a veteran? Do you use the VA?
pjdoug Wrote:I come to both places. Leestown is definitely more laid back than Cooper Drive.

Fewer chiefs running around looking to stir trouble. Fewer UK baby doctors swarming the units.

Imagine that... typo's happening on a message board. Who could've imagined?
Single Wing 77 Wrote:Yep, just like andrew griffin.

South Laurel also had the kid from Miami who lived with the asst. coach. Their Regional; Champion teams have benefited from transfers as well, off the top of my head there was Brad Sizemore, who transferred from Clay Co. and the 2008 Region Champ's top scorer(can't recall his name) transferred from one of the Pulaski Co. schools. Even the team that won the state had a kid who transferred from Clay Co. on it.
I’m sorry but NO ONE from SL can talk about corbin having players come in. Their center on their 2005 state champ team was Fields. I KNOW for a fact he lived in clay co his whole time. Without him you don’t win state. Prob not even region. So go be a hypocrite somewhere else mmmmmmkaayyyyy

Wrong I am right in Corbin, a thousand feet from the new school on fifth street.

What about the foreign exchange deal.
Bossdaddy 4115 Wrote:What about the foreign exchange deal.

Yeah, in pretty sure Corbin has never brought a kid in from Australia. That's impressive.

I never would have thunk it from a Corbinite.
pjdoug Wrote:That's where I want it at. Where is it? Smile

Try browns creek
pjdoug Wrote:I never would have thunk it from a Corbinite.

It's rare but it happens. Kinda like a region title at Whitley county. 😜

I was referring to "We don't have to recruit" . I know where that street is Smile
pjdoug Wrote:I was referring to "We don't have to recruit" . I know where that street is Smile

Ok so you understand that we don’t have to recruit, our programs do that for us.
Single Wing 77 Wrote:Yeah, in pretty sure Corbin has never brought a kid in from Australia. That's impressive.

North Laurel.

Give it time, if Corbin could pull a 7’6 kid from Beijing they would. They’d probably “land” his non English speaking dad a job at Baptist Health
Single Wing 77 Wrote:Yeah, in pretty sure Corbin has never brought a kid in from Australia. That's impressive.

Corbin should recruit a couple Aboriginal Australians.
