For the first time since the FBI raided Andy Millerâs ASM agency, names of college basketball players have been revealed. The latest Yahoo Sports report by Pete Thamel and Pat Forde features three players from Kentucky: Bam Adebayo, Nerlens Noel and Kevin Knox.
Adebayo is listed on an ASM balance sheet with the heading, âLoans to Players.â Entered simply as âBAM,â one balance sheet attributes $12,000 to Bam; another states he received $36,500 and includes a âbad loanâ annotation. Adebayo did not sign with ASM.
On another balance sheet from 2015 that includes more than 50 names of former college basketball players, it states Noel received a $4,350 loan.
The only current Kentucky player in any of the documents, Kevin Knox, is not on a âLoans to Playersâ spreadsheet. Knoxâs name shows up in Christian Dawkinsâ expense reports. The agent sought reimbursement for meals purchased for a dozen players. Dukeâs Wendell Carter and Alabamaâs Collin Sexton are other notable names in Dawkinsâ expense reports.
âThereâs nothing wrong with meeting with an agent,â Atlanta-based lawyer Stu Brown told Yahoo. âBut then it becomes a question of who pays for the meal.â
Yahoo provided extensive documents detailing the exchanges between ASM and players, but they did not share the Kevin Knox expense report.

John Calipari is the SGT Schultz of NCAA basketball. He knows nothing and is determined to keep it that way. The question is will UK become the third school to have NCAA tournament games vacated because of Coach Cal's professed "ignorance" of side benefits received by his recruits?

Nobody cares about Noel. His was after the fact and was already out of UK.
Knox at worst could have to pay his meal money back if true.
Thr problem is bam. And of he took money like that, i would ban him from UK forever, never to return. The punishment would be vacate of all wins from last year plus possible probation. Hopefully it isnt true but he hasnt said a word on it yet. Coward needs to speak up one way or another.
