#4
Happy for Cordia. Knott school board will lock the doors at Cordia tomorrow now. Lol.
#5
Hard to beat a team 4 times. Congratulations to the Lions! Somebody may need to check on the tater man.
#6
That's the funniest thing I've ever heard
#7
No gym, no mashed taters, state department and others trying to close Cordia down, enemies calling social services, half the staff supporting the rival school and YET the coaching staff, loyal fans, hard working team prevailed. And please take the sign at the HCTC campus that says Cordia High School. Cordia is still located on Lotts Creek for the time being. Congratulations Lions!
#8
Will someone call KRCC for Fatpat!
#9
This is music to my ears. Congratulations The Cordia Lions :Cheerlead

Congrats Cordia, they have a talented team.

I would like to say hats off to Knott Central for showing class and staying on the floor to receive their runner up medals, something Cordia refused to do during the All A Regional Finals..with that being said..Congrats to Cordia on a huge win. Interested to see how this will shake up the draw..14th region just got more interesting

Hold up on the car wash please.....a lot of things went down at the All “A” and the decision was made in the best interest of both sides to take the kids to the locker room so cooler heads would prevail....Knott County was headed to the locker room tonight and was made to come back out....but after the game....both teams shared a post game meal together in the cafeteria which showed a lot of class on both sides.....
#13
I'll go ahead and call it right now.
If Perry wins tomorrow, they will play Knott in the first round.
#14
Wonder if the board will Fire Coach Stacy now like they did Coach Rhodes after he won a state title? 🤔
#15
It all depends on if knott wins the region or not. Lol

I’m not sure what game you were watching, either time for that matter..but the above statement you made is not true. I was at the game and spoke to administration on both sides and nobody knew why they left and went to locker room..I also didn’t see Knott head for the locker room last night..I’m actually a neutral party, but I do call it like I see it and last nights ballgame was one of the more exciting I had watched in the 14th region all year. Both teams are talented, and last night Cordia played better and wanted it more, perhaps due to Knott winning the All A..Excited to see what kind of action the 14th region will bring, upsets and all

I was watching from around the bench....how about you?

Lions just have had a better recruiting class than Knott. How is Perry’s. Compared to Cordia, was their recruits rated higher?

I don't know who to root for. Do I don't for Cordia who seems to have recruited a bunch from out of the state, or do I root for Knott County who is the golden child of the superintendent and school board who seems to be doing what they can to keep Cordia down. Which is the lesser of the two evils here?

Knott got what it had coming to them. Too cocky going into District and Region play. Hope they draw the Perry/Hazard winner. :flush:
#24
Not one of " Cordia's" starters from knott co.. not even from the state of ky for that matter! You can put a uniform on them all you want , that's not Cordia! Schools getting an occasional player here n there, like exchange students sometimes, but to have your entire first 5 n 80% of your team from places where they've obviously been recruited from, is not fair!! And let's be honest, they didn't come to Lotts creek for education!! Lol
#25
Perry is all home grown this year besides the transfer they got late in the year.

You do know the roof of the school is caving in don't you?

:hilarious:

Great job Cordia. Hopefully your board of education won't chain the doors to your school shut over this.
#28
Glad to see that Fatpat pulled through the night. Was afraid the tater hole had dried up.
#29
Well, when Ms. King became superintendent, the whole JBS team transferred to KCC. And let us not forget Cameron Justice and Austin Combs.....but that's not recruiting. So don't not be for Cordia for doing what every team in the region does.

It looks like with this warm weather it may be an early spring! We need to get some taters in the ground, because we have a potato famine in Knott County! Shizzle me Dizzle.
