Pulaski 66 Corbin 58
#1
Any details from Corbin or Pulaski fans that attended the game?
#2
Pulaski County out rebounded Corbin. Corbin didn't play to their strength the second half. Taylor tried to take em on his shoulders but lost. Once again, He got his points but the team lost for not playing team ball.
#3
How many did Taylor and Fitz have?
#4
Game until halfway through fourth. Corbin got handled on the boards more than usual. Thought they needed to play a little bit more team ball but playing over in the 12th is hard to do. Have enjoyed watching 4 quality teams play the last two nights.

Congrats to Maroons

I'm going to be quick and to the point with this one-- Corbin is 6-4 since January 20th. Over the last month, they are 7-4. At this point, I think it's fair to question if the focus is there and if this year might be going downhill fast. I don't think that's any one or two kids' fault and instead the culmination of a lot of things that have probably came to a head at an inopportune time.

But yea... this was a Pulaski County team that was 5-5 over their last 10 games coming in (though that was against some solid competition).

Another road loss for the Hounds. Things seem to be falling off just a bit with this two game losing stint.

They have scheduled Harlan and Williamsburg the last two games of season. Maybe a false sense of "getting right" , just before the tournament, We shall see.

Coach has to get them playing TEAM ball. Allowing one player to go 1 on 5 when you have very good shooters wide open is not going to win ballgames. Kinda shocked Coach P allows this. Could be a quick exit for the hounds this year.

Pulaski is a very good team , top two in the region. Corbin had them down by 6 (I think in the 3rd quarter or early fourth quarter) it was a 2 point game inside 2 minutes to go when Danny Butt hit a long three pointer. So if I was a Corbin fan I wouldn't think the sky is falling just yet over this loss.

I went to see the Taylor kid play and he did not disappoint. He is a very good player.

Corbin fading.... Knox Central is rising....

Just saw a couple of 64's jabs in other post. What happened here 64? Post something to fix this Corbin slide or at least tell me the refs were bad.

Knox Central will be sitting at the house while Corbin is still playing.

So your saying your Colonels don’t have a prayer? Figured you a true Colonel.

Same refs that called the Knox and Wayne County game, I think Wayne won that game. The 12th region is tough, and yes Pulaski beat Wayne.

Not a very good team player though

Colonels beat them they are done, but you said they will be playing while we are sitting. You pulling for Corbin over your Colonels?

I don't like Corbin. I'm realistic and know they'll still be playing while you are sitting at the house listening to them on the radio.

I saw him take a charge and attempt to take another charge. I saw him go to the offensive and defensive glass. I saw him shoot the passing lane and get a steal, I saw him take and hit several shots. I saw him bring the ball up the floor against pressure with very very few turnovers. I would call these good team mate qualities.

It’s amusing going through your posts on this site. Only 47 posts, but many of them are you saying negative things about this kid. Which says one of two things; you’re either a kid who’s jealous, or an adult who has nothing better to do that continue to negatively comment about a high school player. IMO, the latter is probably worse. For a kid who gets many triple doubles every year and almost always leads the team in assists, he must be at least a decent team player.

They are actually playing Whitley County, but it's the first round of the 50th District tournament.

Harlan Friday the Whitley Co. Tuesday.

Not how this team wanted to finish season I am sure.

Corbin fans get feeling hurt when truth is told about the play of this kid. To even suggest he is a team player is comical.
