But you are such a big part of the inner circle that you get to come up with in depth analysis of the opponent's game films. I'm shocked that Joe Morris didn't consult you before the game to verify your plan to shut down the Admirals. After all, if they'd have listened to you those 21 points should have been plenty.

I'm hardly the Joe Morris of BGR. But, I still say the adjustments were there. I just think there needed to be some better focus on the field. It is what it is. We lost. But, who other than me at the end of last season picked this team to be 13-2 and state champs. I wasn't too far off. I will stand by my team. They have only had 2 seasons with 2 losses since 2009. Have your fun now, because the boys will be back on the field in August.

Besides that, Longmire wasn't even a legitimate sheriff show.

Yep, they got the gold ball to prove they were the best this year. I don't think anyone is trying to take that away.

No one said Danville wasn't the best in 2a this year. They were. Just as Cal was the best last year and Mayfield was the best the year before that. My comment was in reference to the 'Danville should rent out Mayfield's gear' trash talk. Danville had a great team and a great season. Congratulations to them, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Mayfield's seniors have more rings, more wins, and fewer losses than Danville's seniors. The Cleveland Browns lead the New England Patriots in the head-to-head match-up between the two teams. Do the Browns own the Patriots?

I don't understand the back and forth here. What happened to the days when the results on the field spoke for themselves. Danville won this year. Mayfield didn't. Danville is 2a champs. That doesn't negate what any team did in the past. Let it go. Both teams have a rich tradition. You can what if the heck out of anything. Bottom line Danville won this time and now has a total of 11 state titles and 4 state runners up titles. Mayfield has 12 state titles and 10 state runners up. Most people on here would love to be able to say the same for their teams.

Does Danville lose a lot of seniors off this yearâs team? How many starters return?

Please don't close this one. This should live all the way thru next years 2A playoffs. Please!

Yes
The Ads will still be good but IMO they will be nowhere near where they've been the last two years. In fact, I think Danville and LCA will not win the District, that will be Somerset.

Clevenger and the guys will surprise a lot of people next year, he has already proven his ability to develope his players. His OL and DL will be massive next year with a great duel threat QB.

Clevenger not going anywhere is he?

So you're admitting that you are an arm-chair quarterback. We already knew that. You said you knew how to beat Danville but you had no answers on what you would do.....Everyone sees you for what you are. You were the son of a decent player that is playing at a tiny school. You think you know football because your son grew up in Mayfield. If you really knew that much, and you could have shut Danville down, well, I guess Joe would have listened to you then I guess Mayfield would have won. But I'm confused. Does Mayfield have the best coaching staff in the state or did they fall short when they didn't listen to your plan to shut down Danville? After all, according to you it only took a couple of simple adjustments.
And Longmire was an exceptional sheriff show....
