I kept waiting for a Harlan county run that never happened. HC missed some big shots that could have sparked a big run. South ran their motion much better than their last meeting with HC.

Both teams are contenders but seem to be one player away from being outright scary. Harlan could use another guard who is a deep threat. SL needs a big guy that can create space in the paint and be a rebound machine.

I thought Harlan County did a good job to keep from letting the game get ugly. South was up 15 on a few occasions with the chance to pull away, and Harlan would chip away. I have never seen a team flop as much as Harlan though. You can tell it's taught and practiced a lot from jv to varsity. But I think it's starting to backfire on them they do it so much.
