Big win for Scott County. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) is a perennial west coast and national power. Several Gorman alumni play in the NBA.

Hicks says this is one of the top wins in his career. That is saying something, considering his teams beat NBA great Joe Johnson and Little Rock Central in 1998 and Huntington with NBA's Patrick Patterson and OJ Mayo plus 4 other D1 players in 2007.

Scott County was actually beaten by Julius Randel's team from Texas in a close game at the Beach Ball Classic.
