What evidence do you have to support your opinion? The program has taken a huge step forward every year Haddix has been here. It will continue to do so next year. Next year will be the most talented team Haddix has had to date. It has to peak before you can say what the limit is, and it hasn't peaked yet.

I know this probably isnât what you want to hear cause I know there was high hopes for a district and region title this year but I just donât think you can make a change that quickly two years removed from winning the district. Chappel seems to be well liked in coaching circles and itâs possible you donât come out any better off than you already are if his peers see it as a bad situation. That being said until that administration spends the money to hire a coach, gives him the control, and gets out of the way itâs just gonna be more of the same no matter whoâs wearing the head set!!

Give me a break, Corbin has been at this level before and other coaches took it a step farther. You guys act like Haddix inherited a program in the dump. Haddix was given a program that was at a higher level than most. Donât give me that crap Haddix is the reason. To be honest Greerâs defense saved his butt many times this season. Haddix will not beat Smith or Haywood. Just remember Corbin has had other Coaches take them to champions, Haddix hasnât and JMO will not.
As far as better next year NO QB will hurt them. Greer will have to even do more in 2018.

Think I have figured TheColonel out..... I think itâs just reverse psychology vibes.... I think she/he would give whatever it took to get Haddix in Whitley! NOT gonna happen! So keep dreaming lad! He is Happy just above/north of you!

Not the case, much rather have Smith.

nicker: Chuck Smith is Way out of your league, learn what a pass and a field goal is before you get to carried away.

He is apparently way out of Corbinâs league as well.

Wow good one, to bad your not that good on in game adjustments, maybe then you could have stopped half your schedule from running the ball all over you especially Rockastle they even ran to the locker room afterwards huh?

This is a Corbin thread please stay on topic. Corbin needs to worry about Smith for years to come.

Will Corbin play Danville next year? Lucky they dodged them this year. Good scheduling by Haddix.

Rock must have a much better running game than Corbin. Listen , you can have the last word , you have a great team. This is like arguing with a twelve year old. So go ahead.

Yeah well I’ve met twelve year olds with a higher IQ and more class BYE

I don't have a problem with Chappell. He seems like a fine man. control is the key word.

Haddix and Greer have Corbin on the right track. Corbin has been to semis last 3 years with a trip to the finals this year. Got beat by better teams all 3 years. Belfry was loaded previous 2 years and Boyle had better athletes this year. Corbin had good high school players last 3 years but other than Sizemore nobody who was exceptional. Look at the all state teams and see how many kids Boyle county had this year and Belkfry the last 2 years.

Smith md Haywood are in a league of their own as far as running a program. What Haddix has done for Corbin is remarkable. The staff he has acquired shows Corbin’s dedication to improving their football program. They’ll keep working and closing the gap.

Can you get Smith to join the staff?

Rumor has it, that your Head Ball Coach is a finalist for the Bowling Green job.

Ok let's jump the gun and say Haddix leaves for BG. Who gets the job and what do they do with the returning team? Without re-seeding would they travel if they get to the semi's or host?

If Corbin wins district (theyâll win district) they will home playoffs throughout. They voted to not re-seed

So they will get Belfry or Boyle Co in Corbin. Will they have the horses this season to get past them?

I think theyâll have Boyle. And i think weâll see how each team looks as the season progresses. Boyle returns a lot of skilled guys but will be losing studs on the line. Corbin will need to continue to develop and improve their line play. If they can do that I think weâll have a slobber knocker in Corbin the weekend of thanksgiving.

May be wrong....but I don't think that's accurate. If Boyle and Belfry meet...and Belfry wins....if I'm not mistaken.....State Semi's would be on Pond Creek
