Thoughts?

Should be a very good team next season but gotta replace Sizemore. It is vital that UK Baseball minds their own business.

Only hurdle to a return to Lexington will be whoever comes out of Region 3 (Belfry, Boyle Co, Lexington Catholic). Consider the rest of the season leading up to Thanksgiving as scrimmages to prepare to host that team.

The kid in question is a competitive beast, he will do whatâs best for him and his future and I support whatever his decision is. He has told me he is playing football, I am worried about those that decide not to play. As for a whole the 2018 team has the potential to be the most fun to watch. I hope that they can get kids to play where they should and can benefit the team the best. Realistically only have to fill 5 or six spots, but keep in mind we had to have some play new positions that can fill any of those holes and be as good. I for one will miss big Sizemore and the others, but I am excited to see this new group as they will have so much speed for a Corbin team. I hate the way 2017 ended but when one door closes one more opens. Next year I hope if we meet Boyle again our # 5 shadows #15, if #15 has to go to rest room our #5 hands him a paper towel thatâs the only kid that can hang with #15.

We should be better than we were this year, but you never know how things will gel together.

I know your junior class to be is weak (at least they were in middle school, winless I believe), so what makes you believe you'll be improved? Honest question. Losing the QB is a HUGE loss. Do you guys have enough quality upper class men to help? Will any Sophomore to be be ready to help?

It will be a pleasure to prove you wrong. Statements like this is what puts opponents that aren't Boyle, in Boyle Rebel jerseys on championship night, and watching the tears of your fans is like flowing honey where you just want a cup to put them in to drink for the rest of the off season. Heck, I may even have to cheer for Mayfield next year.

You do understand that he isn't a Corbin fan right?

Corbin has to get bigger and better on the Oline. Sizemore will be missed, but Haddix will adjust the offense to suit Chase Estep and I expect that side of the ball to hum along pretty well. Don't lose many on Defense, but those few had big impacts.
All in all with another year in the weight room I think the hounds will be right back in the thick of things next year.

You exaggerate about having Kentucky players on your team. Corbin will be back in the hunt next year .

Corbin shouldnât have any trouble making it to semi. Is Alcoha replaced with Danville? Where will mayfield game be? Is beechwood coming to corbin?

im pretty sure Corbin plays Danville and Knox central plays Alcoa in next years pigskin classic. Mayfield game will be at Austin peay again. Beechwood does come to Corbin next season. Should be a fun year!

Whoever #81 is will be missed terribly. In our first matchup I thought he single handingly shut down our offense. Luckily in the second game we were able to keep the play away from him a little more. The kid is an absolute gamer!

Won the middle school title and made most of the current team we have.

Your senior class to be has some players for sure.

Alcoa will kill Knox next year. Hopefully they back out so Corbin can put Alcoa up against Danville.
That'd be a really good game. Much better than knox.

Knox will not back out of anything, Alcoa on the other hand may because of the way they got robbed last year. I would think that Corbin fan would not be trying to dodge Danville. However, probably glad they didn't play them this year.

We played by FAR the best team in it this year in Danville. Why would we back out of an Alcoa game. You may not want to play Danville, I got maybe Corbin backs out of Danville game?

Marked it down.......Corbin is loaded for 2018 :truestory:

Nobody said Knox wanted to or would back out.
I said they should. Alcoa will put a running clock on Knox. For the casual fan such as myself, I'd rather see Danville and Alcoa play.

I forgot you are a dumb*** , they should not back out of anything. Will be no running clock, unless Danville puts one on Corbin. As a casual fan I had rather see Danville toy with Corbin.

Knox will be the weakest team in the Pigskin.. Mark it down!!
2016 Corbin beat Danville bad!
