Congrats Boyle County.

Not quite the blowout like many thought , which I knew and said it likely wouldn’t be.

0-0 at half and after 3 quarters.

E-town’s Defense was underrated all year long.

interesting game

I've never been to a game where they come over the pa system and tell the visiting team that security will have you removed from the stands if you are sitting on the on their side. No seating available on the Boyle side as it was full and actually talked to a old couple thats was told to leave their side now.

Etown was definitely the real deal. Great season etown congrats Boyle.

This game was closer than I thought it would be. Congrats Rebels.

that's crazy.

Per the radio broadcast, etown defense was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for yelling out false snap counts?

Not seen that happen very often.

It happened, they even had separate ticket gates for the fans to enter had several people come up to me and tell me they were told to move. First time I've ever been to a general admission football game with no reserved seating, but was told where to set. We watched the game from the top of the baseball stadium bleachers best seats in the house just had to stand.

Watching the video they were called for it on Boyle’s FG attempt. Boyle mistakenly thought it was a First Diwn but it wasn’t. Rebels then had the FG attempt blocked so the penalty never really had a bearing on the game.

I'm used to standing on the sidelines of most games I go to.

If that's true and it appears from multiple accounts that's what people were told - that's a really lame move by the Etown Administration. Shows they are not ready for prime time. Never have I seen a host school restrict unreserved general admission seating on either side of the field - except roping an area off for the band or something like that.

Maybe they have had problems with fights or unruly opposing fans from some of the local schools they play - but that should not carry over into the playoffs.

Elizabethtown was not trying to hide it as it came over the PA system for all to hear. I can understand maybe asking but threatening security will remove you! I felt sorry for the older couple that was told to leave. My guess was they where in the 70's and over heard him saying he didn't think he could walk that far. I don't know how it ended up but I'm sure if they made it they didn't have a seat. I just thought that was bush league for a host school to treat visitors that way. Looks like Karma came back and bite them.

The Etown facilities are nice but are not ready for that kind of crowd. I heard the announcement and everyone around me on the BC side were organizing their own little boycott of the concession stand. Lol

Just like your playing days, standing on the sidelines and watching.

Went to bw3 tonight to watch some ball games. Struck up a Convo with a fella next to me, just so happened to be one of the refs in the semis and the state championship. IMO, etown was as tough and legit a team as you could want, toughest team I'd seen all tear. That being said, this fella said " I ref college as well and have many high school games but the Boyle etown game was the best I've seen. ALL of those kids left it all in the field"
