106.5 radio station in Salyersville will be having a radio-thon tommorrow starting at 4:30  to raise money to get a Greyhound and offset some other expenses lets send our girls  off in red carpet style

I know good and well everyone in Magoffin County just about will pitch in money and these girls will have no problem getting anything needed or wanted. I seen just about the whole county out the night of the game waiting to greet the girls and it was pretty amazing. Enjoy it girls you all have worked hard and you all are living the dream of almost any girl who has played high school ball.

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Magoffin County  raised $14,167 in 3 hours to send our girls off in style isnt that unbelievable  :party:

WOW..That is pretty good! I know the state tournament is pretty expensive..Most schools have already exhausted their budget over the course of the year..The state only pays for rooms as long as you win..If you don't advance, most schools actually lose money by going to the state tournament..I have known several schools to come home the day after they get beat..In the All A they pay for your rooms for the week if you want to stay..I think the KHSAA should work on something to reward teams for making it so they don't have to go in the whole to watch the entire tournament..In my opinion the crowds have gone down the past couple of years and if all the schools have an option to stay the tournament might be more exciting.
