To the Tomcat faithful..... what is Putnam's capacity?

When was the last time it reached capacity.... and by capacity, I mean tickets sales had to stop due to being full. By full, I mean the Fire Marshal could have shut it down.
Check out my YouTube channel.

Good question not really sure about capacity they added corners of the stadium but took out a section on each side where the lockers are. Old Stadium I’ve been told was 5000 to 6000. First season in the new stadium against Ironton I believe they stopped tickets because they were lined up 5 or 6 deep on both sides and seats were scarce. Guessing 5000 people and it’s packed pretty tight

Not sure if they have ever had the Fire Marshal come in and shut anything down, but I believe the capacity is close to 6,000. I know for a fact, when I played, numerous times Putnam was packed. Games with Boyd County, Raceland, Ironton, and sometimes Russell. These games seemed to have had every seat filled, plus standing 3-4 rows deep at the top of the stands (when you could stand at the top of the stands). I'm sure tonight will be one of, if not the top 5 games in stadium history with few seats available. I know a couple of seats that will be filled. Good luck to both teams, and I'm looking forward to an injury free game. Go Cats!!! Bring it back... :1:
