It's post like this that I've seen over and over that makes me know no one inside the Whitley County has even the slightest clue what my association with Whitley is. I've never lied about who I am. I've said the years I attended and even said the year I graduated. IMO my senior class done more for Whitley County football than any other before us or since. If only we had this 6 class system then.

I think your underestimating Williamsburg a bit. While they're no world beaters, they're definitely a top 10 1A team and they get Pikeville at home.
It's always nice when a team that's been owned by another team finally gets that first win against them. Wouldn't shock me if it did

Williamsburg has had teams that could beat Pikeville in the past. The teams just didn't happen to meet up in those years. Total respect for Williamsburg. They have been through a ton this year and are still a good and dangerous team.

I am a Pikeville fan and I have watched a lot of film on Williamsburg. If Pikeville don’t come out and play good defense and do their job they could very well have along ride home. Just like Hazard quarterback ran on them so will Williamsburg’s. He is very good and their passing game is great with 3 or 4 good receivers. Williamsburg is a nightmare match up for Pikeville. Pikeville could also say if they had Battaile (if that’s how you spell it) they would be a lot better. Pikeville offensively is very good with a lot of weapons, if the defense can get a couple of turnovers and a pass rush to contain Poore and maybe sack him a couple of times and force them to punt I think Pikeville wins big if not it’s going to be a battle.

I think teams that focus primarily work on 1 portion of there offense like the run will put those types of numbers.

I wish Pikeville would update there stats though to get some numbers to go on.

The offense has gotten much better with the switch of QBs. I agree we get to see how the defense has improved. Like Patriot said in a few post back that williamsburg could be a matchup up nightmare for Pikeville. But I think it goes the same way for Williamsburg.

One stat we know is they are averaging over 40 points in the first half of last 5 games and a zillion yards. But I'm looking for a statement game from the defense if they expect to beat Hazard and Paintsville.
