Knott defeated Magoffin 47-12 on Thursday. Morgan lost at Breathitt 54-26. Morgan had 6 fumbles, all resulting in turnovers. Both teams have good offenses and can put points on the board. Common opponents, Shelby Valley, Magoffin County and Breathitt County. Knott defeated Shelby valley 42-22, Morgan lost to Shelby Valley 55-36. Knott defeated Magoffin County 47-12, Morgan defeated Magoffin County 64-46. Breathitt defeated Knott 50-43, Breathitt defeated Morgan 54-26.

Defense has been a problem area for both teams. Morgan gave up 46 to Magoffin and 54 to Breathitt the last 2 games. Knott gave up a whopping 71 points to Powell last week. I don't see either team stopping the other offensively.

Knott's defense just does not play aggressive at all, no hustle or don't really even try to get to the football. Do not see them having a clue on stopping Morgan's run or pass. I'll take Morgan in a shootout at home, 62-56.

Only way Knott beats Morgan is if Morgan fumbles the game away like at Breathitt. Knott's defense gave up 71 points to Powell, twice as much as anybody Powell has played. There D will not stop Morgan, I don't think they'll even force Morgan to punt the whole game. I don't see Morgan stopping Knott's offense either but the only way Knott wins that game by 12 points is if Morgan turns the ball over. That's the only way, Knott's D can't stop anybody. This game is for the 3 spot in the playoffs, loser is going to Corbin. Kind of do or die for Knott, Estill has a couple players back that has been out injured. Knott loses to Morgan and Estill, they may be out.
