I think to most Hazard fans the Hazard-PCC game was THE game.  Everything else has just been icing on the cake...winning the district, winning the regional, even going to Rupp.  This week marks the 81st anniversary of the HAZARD BULLDOGS first trip to state and now we are going back again.  The BULLDOGS have earned their way to the state tourney 30 times and won 3 state titles during their long history...a history rich in pride and tradition.  And now the tradition continues.  I'm not worried about whether they win or lose.  I only want them to go out there and play like BULLDOGS...play with heart and courage and integrity.
Hazard High School teacher Emma B. Ross said it best more than 50 years ago..."It's up to you to produce the old fighting spirit, the tenacity and determination of the Bulldog; to put your whole heart and soul into every game.  Then, whether you win or lose, we are with you all the way. YOU ARE OUR BULLDOGS!!!!"

umm? all the way? do you see who they play first round? Madison Central..have you seen who they have beat this year?South Laurel,Tates Creek,Henry Clay,Bryan Station and Scott County. so..i think those teams would dominate the 14th region. Lex Cath drilled Hazard and these teams are better than Lex Cath but yes Hazard goes all the way :lmao:

I know that hazard is the underdog, but its tournament time and anything can happen.  If hazard goes in there with confidence then i think that they have a chance.  Playing in rupp has to be amazing, and if the hazard fans get into it and hazard hits their shots, then i think anything can happen.

I think hazard very much earned there way into RUPP for the tourny BUT I think the results would have been very different if they would have had to play Leslie County in the regional championship...But non the less Hats off to the bulldogs and also to Jackson City who fought hard and had a very good tournament :clap:

Well thats a funny thing for you to say!! Clearly you are from Leslie or maybe just a fan. And get over it!! They lost twice to Hazard and than lost to Jackson City!! Sooo clearly that makes Hazard and Jackson City the better teams. And we could have beaten Leslie 3 times..but....well you know what happend! Go luck Dawgs at RUPP!!!!!!  :1:

hhsfan You are so right that I just cant get over it....u all could of beat leslie three times if the third game was at hazard.....since hazard doesnt pay there refs doctors wages or some bull...it is clear to me that ignorance is your virtue....But its not your fault considering your from hazard.. :thx:

i think that he has virtues.....but ignorance isn't one.....you take the cake on that one.....leslie could've beaten hazard.....mabye....if they would have played them....but they didn't make ti that far...drop it.....hazard beat you all twice and jackson beat you all out again
