Congrats Rams

Gonna be a lot of crow served up tonight!

Congrats to the Rams. Raceland obviously a cut above where I imagined at this time. Russell got blown out by Ashland so the Rams are once again the best team in Greenup County....

For Greenup when the spread works it's great but when it don't your up shit creek without a paddle.... Muskies will get there

Congratulations Rams

Congrats Rams!!!

Raceland physicaly dominated greenup, out played , out coached and out performed . 7 on 7 don't mean a whole lot everyone's a stud until the pads get put on .. great job Rams

Congrats to the Rams! The score in this one really surprised me and I was expecting a closer game. Raceland dominated every facet of the game tonight and they were clearly the better team. Defensively we are looking great. Raceland has not given up a point in the past 10 quarters of play which is a very impressive feat. They did a much better job at tackeling tonight and there weren't nearly as many arm tackles as there have been in the past few games. Each week we are looking better and better and we just have to keep improving each game.

Nice win for Raceland. Raceland will be right in the thick of it in Class A. RACELAND/PAINTSVILLE will be a war.
#10
Shocked by this result...not the fact that Raceland won, but the fact that they won in such dominating fashion. Raceland is solid as usual but it isn't one of their better teams. I was really wrong about Greenup, though. Another less than stellar season for the Musketeers.

That's still a while down the road and we have a few more tough games before we get to Paintsville. This team much better than I expected them to be at this point in the season but there are still a few areas that we need to improve on before we start talking about playing Paintsville.

GC has no offensive line. That's why they throw so many side to side passes. They couldn't throw down field because of all the pressure. QB definitely can't handle pressure. We put some viscious hits on the Mouseketeers tonight.
#13
Rams will know what they are made of when the Somerset Briar jumpers roll into Ram Stadium.
#14
GC has not defeated Raceland since 2010.

I found their lack of line play to be surprising because they had some big bodies up front but once they got moving they weren't very fast. Greenup definetly passed the eye test and they had some good looking athletes but they just couldn't get anything going.

This may be one of the best defensive backfields we have ever had. They are pretty good against the pass.

Rams keep getting underestimated and keep right on rolling along. Way to make a statement Rams! Congrats!

It's hands down the best we have had since 12, with Messer, Dixon, Christian, and Young. They are playing really well against the stretch plays as well. Offensively, Hunter Lacks is slowly but surely bringing our run game to the next level. His combo of strength, speed, and vision, is what we have been lacking. Damon needs to calm down in the pocket and tuck and run instead of forcing throws. Wish he would trust his feet more. He looked great tonight when he did. Love that he is keeping his vision down field though. Really good performance over all by the Rams. Also liked seeing us kick the field goal when we stalled around the redzone.

Grizzle is building things the right way in GC. I'm sure this loss is hard on him, but I know they have Ashland circled in red. Love Scott's composure on the sidelines. He has a bright future. I don't think Greenup is as bad as some may come away thinking they r, just looking at this score. Our secondary was lights out and our front 7 looked like a different bunch tonight. Things are still a ways off if we want to be a contender in the region, but things are getting better every week. Defense is pretty stout right now. Interested to see how we do on the road trip to Valley.

According to ADI, the Rams held an offense that came in averaging almost 400 yds per game, to around 150. Sammons came in averaging 204 yds and 2 tds per contest. Rams held him to just 85 yards, no tds, and 2 ints. That is stellar work by the secondary if u ask me.

Hmm, where's all those cocky Greenup fans?

Maybe they are having a meeting in South Shore while watching the UK vs. EKU game today.

Maybe Coupon21 is directing South Shore's so-called mafia to see how GC can defeat Raceland for the first time since 2010 when Mike Copley was the head coach.

Maybe...maybe not
