CONGRATULATIONS 14TH REGION CHAMPS!!!!!!!!
It's after midnight and I just got home from painting the town BLUE and GOLD. This make more than 30 times that the BULLDOGS have earned their way to the state tournament. You all played a great game and we are proud of you. Congratulations Coach Spurlock. To the coaches, the players, the band, the cheerleaders, the awesome student pep section (which has to be the best in the state) and the fans I am proud of all of you.
I am also proud of the JACKSON CITY TIGERS. You all played a great game. You guys play good ball and you play with heart and pride. You have awesome fans. I believe that everybody in Breathitt Co. was at this game tonight yelling for their beloved Tigers. Hold your heads up high and be proud Tigers. There were no losers in this game. The Tigers have earned the respect of the entire 14th region. Congratulations Tigers!!
MAY THE BULLDOG PRIDE LIVE FOREVER.

Good luck at Rupp Hazard. You played a great tourny and deserved the championship. Congradulations to all the players who made the all tourney team, also to Justin Hicks for winning the MVP. Hicks played a great game and proved to me and many others last night that he is the best guard in the 14th.

Thanks for all the respectful comments for Jackson City. I'd like to also congradulate Hazard on their Championship. They truly are a great team. Congrats to my Tigers who I'm extrememly proud of and you guys made some very loud noise this year! You played with heart and that's all that can be expected. The only thing I wish could have been different is that Howard would have been 100% in this championship game, not taking any glory away from Hazard because they deserve it. It's just that IMO if Howard would not have hurt his ankle the night before, the Tigers would have probably came out a litte better. But anyway, these boys fought with everything in them and I'm a Tiger fan for life and I'll never forget this group of young men and what they done for their team, school, fans, and community! Great Job Boys you are :1: with me!

I hope that Kyle is ok. I remember thinking what a trouper he was to go back in and play in OT of the Leslie Co. game. I wondered if he would be able to play saturday night. I could tell it was bothering him during the game but he never gave up. I'm a Bulldog fan and it even crossed my mind that the outcome of the game may have been different if he had been at 100%. I'm glad that JC had their parade and their celebration when they got back to Jackson. Those boys are heroes and they deserved it. I'm proud of both of these small schools for making it to the final game.
