I really think he's the frontrunner for Mr. Basketball after the season he had last year.

This year will be more of the same from Knox. They'll be the most talented, and they'll choke. Then everyone in Knox county will lose their minds and blame the refs.

Just signed to play college ball at Furman

I thought he would do better. Low major D1 though. Prep school may have landed bigger school. We will never know. Kid is a real good high school player. Best of luck.

I too thought he may land a P5 school.
Not sure why they didn't go after him harder.
IMO he's a better prospect than Corey Sears was and he ended up at UK, albeit that was early 00s

At least part of the 2 seasons Sears was at UK he was a walk-on and paying his own way. I had much rather get a free ride to Furman University than pay my on way and be a practice player at UK.

I don't disagree but would a P5 school not be an option?
I knows he's than some of the kids that have gotten recruited to wake forest, Boston college, etc.

Taylor is one of the best all around players that I have seen in a long time. He is not only a great scorer but his all-around game is fantastic.

I'm pretty sure he chose Furman. Had some higher offers, but that's where he wanted to go. Furman and Corbin have a history together in basketball. Maybe he wanted to continue it. No matter what the situation is, congrats to the young man. He is getting to live a dream that thousands of kids would love to have.

I would love to have seen the kid become the next Jarred polson at in. Although I think he might be better at the end of his career than polson. But Iâm glad he went where he wanted to go. Sometimes the biggest school isnât always the best fit or âHomeâ to a kid. Iâm gonna hate to see the kid leave after this year. Heâs a special talent

Probably was an option. But he choose not to wait and go to a school that has a great campus, in a great location and have a chance to be a big time player there.
I think everyone gets caught up in the big names. bottom line does the situation make the kid happy. It appears that Furman was just the right school or I don't think he would have signed early.
