I hope that those who respond to this will not try to google the answer, I want to see how much people know with out using sources.

Yeah, I was dead set on the Unknown Soldier Tomb, quite interesting..

One of the best war movies ever. I knew the 2nd but I went with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier also.

I find it hard to believe that the American public would visit his grave more than the tomb of the unknown soldier. I say this because not many people know who this guy is. Our great minds do :thumpsup: but many dont. Amazing........

That is according to Arlingtons records and you must remember that saving private ryan put WWII back on the front page.
My Father was in the Korean conflict, both in a mortar co. and then drove a APC with the 5th Army's Aromor units.
He often talked of how in bootcamp that Murphy was brought up on more than ocasion.
It's a shame that are youth know so little of such a great man.

crazy thing is.. when i went to dc and went on one of those tours, i don't recall anyone ever saying anything about the man.
