Prestonsburg has named Brandon Gearheart the new Boys basketball head coach. Gearheart was previously the blackcats girls basketball coach.

He fits in with rest of the coaches they have except he only had 5 transfer and 1 quit. With the hires the new principal has made will almost finish off their programs. No incoming freshman all have transferred, and it is only going to trickle down to the other classes. Nothing but negativity surrounds that school and its athletics programs!
