It went downhill quick for the Maroons in the third.

Had Pulaski County won, we would have got a rematch of the Class 5A state football championship game from earlier this school year.

That's what happens when you have a bunch of football players who think they're basketball players. A couple will get their shot at the next level from Pulaski. However, you have a few who have been brainwashed to think their ticket to collegiate athletics is on the hardwood, but will be hit with a reality check when they're seniors and didn't play any other sports along the way.

And some could play baseball or golf or tennis. Whats your point? Whos right is it to choose where a kids heart is at? Problem nowadays is too much smoke is blown at a kid about a college scholarship. Let them choose what they want to play and preach to them about academic scholarships instead. Confused

Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of money could have been saved by having only Bowling Green, Scott County, Fern Creek, and Ballard come to Rupp Arena.

I don't think this is accurate. I can remember Mercer County getting beat by almost 50 in the opening round in 2000.

The first half of this one was sloppy. I think at one point both teams were like 8/30 from the field. The 2nd half Scott County cranked up the defensive intensity and sped Pulaski up. Cooper Robb for Scott Co. is as impressive a guard as I've seen in a while. Very smart player and is a knockdown shooter. The match-up between him and Zion Harmon of BG is going to be GREAT. The scary thing about Hicks' squad is that they only graduate 3 seniors after this season.

I believe someone is still sad they lost in the first round of the region. Congrats to the Maroons for getting to the "dance". The Maroons future is bright!
