North Laurel @ Clay County 01/17/17
#1
Thought and predictions

North Laurel 15-3
Clay County 8-8
#2
I think Clay gets over the hump from playing the top region teams close and gets a win at home. 70-66. Big game from Broughton but Gabbard is the difference maker
#3
Will Gray play? If Tigers feed the post it will be a great game. Clay must do a good job of keeping Broughton off the offensive glass. If he gets extra opportunities to score, Clay has zero chance!

Clay all the way
#5
North by 10

I'm sure North Laurel will press. If Clay County takes care of the ball it'll be a really good game. If they struggle with the pressure and turn it over they'll have no shot. I'll say Clay by 2.

This was suppose to be Norths year. All I have heard for 3 years is how talented North is, Well up until this point I would consider them to be major under achievers or not as talented as people have been led to believe. Broughton may get 75 in this game as Clay will not have the length to bother him as in years past but the rest of the team may score under 10 pts combine. I'm not gonna pick against Clay but on paper North should win.

Broughton 59
Clay co. 62

Don't think there's any way Gray will play for North, he was still on crutches Friday at Jackson Co game. Maybe by next Tuesday when they play again at North.

North will leave Clay County with a W this year.

North Laurel 78
Clay County 72

Broughton will have his best game against Clay because we don't have a Wolfe or Smith to guard him. Clay has played the regions best close every single time and I think this one will be the same but in the end I don't think they have an answer for Broughton.

North by 7

Clay plays zone and broughton struggles, clay wins this one by 8

Not sure what all the hype is about Gabbard... Watched him play at JC and smoked 3 layups, 1 of which there was no one within 20 ft. of him. My prediction is Asher has field day on him and NL wins by double digits...
#13
Hype confirmed! Next question/prediction please.
#14
Gabbard is playing like the best big in the 13th region right now. He dominated Asher from the tip to the end. You better believe the hype.

I had to listen to this one...It sounded like Gabbard, Rogers and Curry all had nice performances...CC truly has NL's number...
