It was actually 61-46. It looked like Hazard ran out of gas. Press hurt them in the 2nd half. Really missed Sturgill's ball handling and passing.

We held them to 22 the first half I think. They don't score very well. This game was closer than the score showed. With Sturgill there we win again.

They didn't have there number 2 ball handler an she averages 15 points game ! Leslie's played them straight up an if she would have played it would have played a box an one,an Leslie would have lost!! An besides is it that a big a victory? You were at home ,with there best shooter not playing! An Hazard's only 6-6 !

Leslie's press did turn Hazard over a bunch. Hazard had to come out of their zone late, giving Leslie some easy drives to the basket. Looking at the stats, neither team really shot the ball well but Leslie played much better this game.

sturgill definetaly makes a big difference. she handles the ball so the press wouldn't have hurt hazard near as bad and with sturgill in the line up leslie wouldn't have been able to lag off of her like they could another player so that would give caudill room to penetrate. and hazard has played a tougher schedule then last year but that should help them come tournament time. and don't forget the muha girl out for the season with a knee injury. she would be another good guard that would play and help
