Pikeville already had a pretty talented team now with Watkins, who can definitely handle the ball and Hamilton, the 6'5 big man who is almost unstoppable on the inside they will now be a contender in the 15 th. And a BIG plus is these boys have played together all their lives and feed off of each other.

Where did they come from?

I'm shocked to hear this!

Everyone knew this would happen
Was it a court injunction or khsaa

Watkins is a good player, but will Elisha be able to handle his Daddy? There's some baggage there!

I don't understand how they make these boys eligible when it's obviously because of there new coach but perry has two to transfer in and there guardians buy a $300,000 dollar house and they are not eligible. Makes no sense

Maybe they should have bought a cheaper house.. if you REALLY want to know it's public record.. but that would require more than just complaining wouldn't it...

15th trying to out recruit the 14th region

What's buying the house have to do with anything? I was just saying if u were just moving for basketball reasons u wouldn't buy a house that expensive. And what's public record, why they were ruled ineleigble ?

My apologies hit post before finished... 15th couldn't out recruit 14th .. however 14th could out recruit most NAIA teams..
12-04-2016, 04:20 AM
We knew they would .
12-04-2016, 04:29 AM
HS recruiting is reached the point that it's making a mockery of each sport

It was KSHAA and I can ASSURE you not everyone knew. From what I heard even a parent or two was frantic about what the outcome might be.

They do make Pikeville better

:thatsfunn You kidding me? When has Pikeville ever NOT had someone ruled eligible to play for them? They've had kids from all over Pike/Floyd county coming for athletics for years.

Motley Wrote::thatsfunn You kidding me? When has Pikeville ever NOT had someone ruled eligible to play for them? They've had kids from all over Pike/Floyd county coming for athletics for years.Kash Daniel was ruled ineligible and went back to Paintsville. Zack Roberts had to sit out almost an entire season this year even though he made a legit physical move because his mother got a job here even before the 2014-2015 school year ended in Prestonsburg. Moved here and still he had to sit until I believe the Pike Central game. There's been others in other sports (I think one in particular for baseball, and it was like the stupidest decision EVER by KHSAA). Pikeville doesn't automatically get kids eligible, 99 out of 100 time, they get eligible because we follow the rules.

I think this entire transfer thing has gotten completely out of hand. I'm not singling out Pikeville or any other school in particular. I'm just saying that it's rampant and the KHSAA needs to have a complete overhaul on how they handle this.

Pikeville has one more to get eligible then this team could be a real contender for Rupp
12-19-2016, 05:10 AM
When he is eligible that will complete the team an push the back court to one of the best in the 15 region

they're already a contender for Rupp.

How are all these schools allowed to bring in players from another places and let them play!
12-19-2016, 11:23 PM
Khsaa need to put a stop to all this, if they transfer they should have to seat out a year !
