The refs were complete garbage in this game but LC managed to get the win. Congrats to my Dawgs and good luck to P-burg in the rest of their season.

This very young Bulldog team has improved every week and that is all you can ask for from a very young coach in his first ever year as head coach. I think for him and this team after a season under their belt's and a year faster, stronger, bigger and more experienced and returning everything on both sides next season this team will be a tough out..........mark my words on that. A lot of people see big things coming for this program.

Prestonsburg had a good,solid team just not a lot of depth. I only counted a little over 22 or 23 players that dressed but they all played hard and was physical. They were much better than I expected.

Paintsville doesn't have to recruit as long as they have Chirico. The kids want to play for him, and the parents trust him to treat them with respect. As bad as it is for Prestonsburg now, it's fixing to get worse if the rumors floating around hold true.

You don't have to recruit players from Prestonsburg. Academics are below average, coaches are a******* and nobody wants to play for them. Maybe the coaches and administration should take a look in the mirror and ask themselves why kids are leaving or wanting to leave?? Maybe they should change the way they act or coach if everyone wants to move schools. They created the problem now they'll live with it.

I hate to see it this way for Pburg. They are sadly, a shell of their former glory on the grid.. Who did they loose Monday? Just curious. but at this point I don't think its going to take much for the boys to jump ship :flush:

That's a shame too because the rest of Floyd counties academics are doing the best ever..Several grade and middle schools are tops in the entire state. They are getting statewide attention for the way they have turned around the county..

After the Fleming loss to East Carter I'm not sure the Bulldogs aren't the favorite in that game anyway.

Fleming should be favored in this game. I think the loss to East Carter was likely just one of those bad games where everything goes wrong. Fleming can throw the ball and the LC pass defense has really struggled this year. That being said.. if Fleming doesn't have a really good defensive line then the Dawgs will pound the ball down their throats with those 15 play drives that eat the clock.
