If Rams make the necessary changes we win by 2 TD's being SR night I don't see it happening. Good luck Rams

I didn't know the evils still had a football team. I thought they gave it up for a sea horse jousting team.
10-26-2016, 09:43 PM
Right sport, wrong animal. It was actually ram jousting. But the rams, as is usually the case, were not very reliable and kept breaking down on us. So we decided to give this football thing another try.

Raceland is Playing at a very high level right now so gonna be difficult for Russell to come into Ram Stadium and pull out a "W"! Senior night or not! I've heard about Russell's D but not sure it can be much better than Racelands! Also I've not got to see the Devil's offensive output!

Time to put little brother back in his place.
Evils bury the Ams in the rock garden ring of death.
Seriously that so called field looks like a cow pasture. But at least you finally took a geometry class and figured out 90 degree angles.

Russell's defense has been very good. The offense has struggled at times mainly due to inconsistent line play.

I think that will be Russell's biggest problem in this game because the Raceland defensive line has played really good all season. The Russell OL has to show up and play very well for the Devils to have a chance in this game.

Hard to give those words much credit coming from a russell fan who's field was too jacked up to play a preseason bowl game on!!lol even if there was a let to stand on, giving us crap over something we ourselves whine about every year is grasping at straws.
Surely you high dollar, fancy, high brow, big brothers", can come up with some better trash talk than that!!
I'll give it a shot....
More money provides a Bigger school, which yields a higher enrollment, in turn produces a larger roster, allowing for more high caliber atheletes. So in closing, Big Money+Big Enrollment+Big Roster+Big Bad Players=x
X=????

That was a very nice way of putting it. Ole Booger wouldn'thave been so nice. He would have said that the Evils have had their @$$e$ handed to them for the better part of a decade and it ain't bout to change Friday night !! ! !

Figured id try a different route lol. The direct and to the point smack talk last week went over like a fart in a diving helmet last week.

Getting hung up on the successes and failures of the past can have a negative impact on the challenges of tomorrow. The last six meetings have gone the way of the Ams. I couldn't care less about that at the moment. All that should matter right now is what happens on Friday.
Now, you may be asking yourself, "What's going to happen on Friday, Samson?" Well, come closer Ole Booger and I'll tell you... the Devils are going to curb stomp the Ams into another dimension and bring the Rail Cities Bowl trophy to Red Devil Hill.

And now for some actual football talk...
I think Landon Brewer will have to play a big role for Russell offensively. He's not exactly an electrifying deep threat, but he's got great hands, runs great routs and is a big target at 6-2 or 6-3 and 200 lbs or more. #18 is not flashy, but very solid and dependable. He'll need to play a significant role in keeping the chains moving and helping Russell sustain drives. I'd like to see him targeted at least 8-10 times.

Have to laugh a little at this statement. Not at the point made, but the simple fact that a Russell fan is saying things like "8-10 targets in the game". 10 years ago Russell didnt take 8-10 passing attempts in two games, let alone in one game, to one player. In all seriousness though. This should be another good game for the Rams and another big time atmosphere. Last years game was a classic, this year could possibly live up to the same billing. But I like the Rams by two scores, one of the scores coming late to put the Evils away. These two senior classes have had some elic battles since they were in JFL. Looking foward to another great night of HS football.

Oh. I had a question about Racelands field I forgot to ask. I was watching it again the following day online and my son asked " why do they have a jack o lantern painted on the field"! i was like, "I'm not sure man I'll have to ask"! So Why was their a jack o lantern on the 50 yard line? Is it a Haloween thing? It has a big smile and appears happy! Also Will you guys keep it on there for the Russell game? Great Halloween spirit but you think Raceland would be more focused on football at this point of the season! We just go with a Blue letter "P".

Good luck to both teams.

I heard CSX took the trophy back when they all but shut down the Russell Yards.

Lol. Not sick Quam just shooting straight. Raceland IS playing at a very high level! Not the same level as Paintsville by any means BUT still a very high level of football that most high school teams can't compete with!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe playing a team in overtime puts both teams at the same level. With that said, this game is between Raceland and Russell and if Raceland comes out and executes well they should be able to win this game by two scores.
10-27-2016, 03:41 PM
Just busting your guys balls a little. The overtime W gives us that right at least! Raceland should be more than fine in this one I expect a 2 touchdown win. I know penalties have been an issue all season for the Rams but Hopefully They can hold that laser focus and be around their season low In penalty yards like last Game of 25. That was an impressive turn around by the Rams! They continue that and I don't see anyone beating them!
