Funny, MC would beat you all by 20+...

My personal opinion, Troxell is the #1 running back in the state. You would have to watch this kid to realize how tough he is. Bobcat buddy, Mr. Troxell would run for 500+ yards and 6 td's against you all. Walk before you run Wink

LeeCoUKFan Wrote:Myles Hurst from Jackson County should be on here too! He has 1414 yards and 14 TDs in 8 games this season!
He gets my vote if he has that many yards playing for Jackson Co.
#35
For the players I've seen, I would go with Kent Phelps but I haven't seen a lot of players outside of the eastern Kentucky bubble.
#36
Watched Jackson Co and Corbin game on film. How many yards did he have against Corbin?
#37
Troxell the #1 running back in the state? YOU have lost your mind. He's playing against the worst competition in the state! Most JV teams would beat the teams McCreary is beating. Jordan Doan, although small, should be considered a top 5 candidate. He has over 1000 yards against some of the toughest competition in the state.

Corbin shut him down. He had 50 rushing yards on 13 carries, but he did have a 102 yard INT return for a TD. The kid is freaky fast!

Last week he had 201 rushing yards on 17 carries against Casey County.

He had 2136 yards last season with 18 TDs as a Junior.

Aside from the bunnies being on the back burner of football in PC, why should someone talk trash about a kid, just because his name was mentioned a few times, a few times more than your beloved back I must add. No hate. Just throwing facts out there. Every team and every player work hard every week to simply get one thing, and that's a W on Friday night, and eventually move on in the post season. McCreary is having the best year they've had, why try to take that from them?

Troxel is a good back. The coach at MC is a Somerset graduate, coached at Somerset for years and still lives a stones throw from the stadium. Troxel spent his freshman summer as a Briar Jumper, little known fact, before moving back for family reasons. Not sure what you're getting at, Trox has earned every yard he's gotten as has Phelps and Doan.

I know the Troxell kid and he is good kid! Good back too! This is not about Mccreary or Troxell to me. Know the head coach well. This is now personal!!

Well?????

you should come see.

My son has worked his butt off in the weight room. I have spent countless hours teaching him. He spends more time training than anyone I know. I will not speak to his talent but his work ethic is second to none! To have you say such bullshit things infuriates me to no end!
#48
No need for any Kid to be put down on this sight. I know Jordan Doan and I know Brandon Troxell and any Team is Kentucky would be glad to have either. Both deserve to be listed in top backs in Eastern Kentucky.

You know me cell king and you know I don't look for trouble but this guy picked the wrong one!

While I don't blame you for being upset, you can't post those kinds of words on here. Next time, before you jump on your keyboard, drop me a PM.

Also apologize to Jumperpride1 because of my mistake that I have since corrected.

WinterStorm88, as you can see, has been banned.

Everybody please read: I am VERY flexible when it comes to opinions and even some name calling but there is no way in hell that I will sit back and allow the kinds of accusations that appeared on this thread.

Two people asked me to review this thread for deletion, and I thank both of them VERY MUCH!! I wasn't monitoring tonight, but was watching the debate.

I don't need to repost the Members Rules. You all know them and can see them very easily. Please keep your temper, and have a civil discussion, even debate on this issue. I really like to see everyone's opinion.

Know this......if you call out a high school ball player on here with the kind of accusations that were made earlier, I WILL BAN YOU!!

The Cook kid has a ton of yards and is splitting carries. Would be interesting to see what he would do, if it wasn't a split carry situation.
#53
I'd rather see hudl packages to back up any of this rather than a bunch of homers talking about stats vs ho hum high.

I think the closest anyone has come against Corbin is the running back from mayfield. I think he had 81 but I may be mistaken. Mysonis55 or killbilly usmc would probably know better.

Myles Hurst had a 102 yard interception return for a TD against Corbin.

Talking about rushing yards

Redneck Wrote:Talking about rushing yards

I know, just thought it was an interesting stat since no one else has come close to doing anything like that against Corbin this year. He only had 50 rushing yards on 13 carries on the offensive side of the ball against Corbin.
