I want to go ahead and take the time to address the fact this will probably be the last game between these two in the forseeable future.
From what I gather the two are mutually parting ways and will not be re-newing the contract for another two years.
I just want to say that of all the fanbases Belfry has had a chance to interact with over the past four years, I honestly think Harlan County has been my favorite. Great ambassadors are on here, and there has not been a single negative comment I can remember hearing from any of the four games about Black bear Nation... especially in 2013 in what was a massive crowd. Despite such a publicized and anticipated matchup on the Black bears' homefield every single person I ever heard from had nothing but positive things to say about the hospitality in which they were treated.
I secretly wish the rivalry could continue on, if for no other reason than to keep that sense of camaraderie going, but I realize both programs need to change the trajectory of their schedule for different reasons.
I just want to say THANKS to the Harlan County fanbase on here for always being good sports, good hosts, and supporting Belfry in the playoffs like they were their own. Very classy folks and I wish absolutely nothing but good fortune to Harlan County moving forward.

no you are just missing the point...
Harlan County literally is planning to sink Belfry's Pirate Ship. They are all currently down on the Tug River searching for it right now

The best thing that came out of this series was getting to meet and know the classy lady Granny Bear!
