Final.

Running clock.

Whitley missing on 4 or 5 2pt conversions.
Need to get there kicker back.

Pretty good win.

Took a whoopin. No excuses. Have to be better and that's all there is to it. At some point, some scheme changes have to be considered.

Wow Middlesboro. You def let me down in this game. Head Coach needs fired after this season. Too much talent on that field for a 0-2 start.

Mboro is bad and getting worse!!!! Congrats to Whitley on the big win!!

I would also like to think that. Less than 100 yards total offense and gave up more than 400 to Whitley. We only crossed the 50 yard line once and never came close to scoring. Defense would have given up 50+ if Whitley could have held on to the ball. Something needs changing.

Congrats Colonels.. Love to see them win!

Good job Colonels district is wide open. You guys are in the running for sure. :Cheerlead

Run off a perfectly good coach a couple of years ago

I thought someone predicted this score 56-49 Middlesboro? Do some of you guys even know anything about your teams?

I worry about my bobcats after seeing this score. We struggled at times with the jackets!

One person did predict this score.

I actually said I thought it would be closer than last year but would still be a big upset if Middlesboro were to have won.

The interceptions off the hands of receivers are getting pretty old. I know there were at least two in this game and there were a couple more in the last. Also, so many 3rd and long conversions allowed. If the offense could have held on to the ball for the average amount of time, the defense would have clearly shown that they were improved from last year. Hard to keep the score down when the offense is giving the ball back to them instantly.

I thought there would be a lot more scoring..... But we didn't show up

Whitley punted once and had one turnover (deep in the boro territory) Just your basic game of "run the rock and the clock" take time off the clock and move on. The Jackets have some nice weapons but were in an utter state of confusion all night long. 91 yasrds of total offense showed vast improvement by Whitley and 410 total yards showed vast improvement. Close the book and move on...........

Did Elliott piss off the Mboro coaches? Seems to be forgotten man. Sounds like an opening in the crater soon.

Need to open it up from the top down. This is embarrassing for alumni. Most on here just don't want to accept what is going on.

I thought the Colonels defense played pretty decent with a few sacks and interceptions.
#26
Petty good, considering we had one play the whole game across mid field. I say they did.

We were there, just didn't know what to do.

MHSParent and Trashman listen to their heart and support their team. They just do not know football, nor can they evaluate talent as comparison to other teams. Fans of their team, which is not a bad thing. Nextgeneration doesn't like anyone. Hear Elliot was hurt? The Qb question can be answered easily. Ask yourself does the new Qb give you as much with his arm as the Elliot kid did with his legs, when it comes to total offense? Right now it just doesn't seem to be happening. They will have very few chances to even match the 1 win total of last year if something doesn't give.

The offense seemed better last year with Elliot at quarterback.

We are asking ourselves the same thing, he had one carry that I think was our only first down in the game. Got hurt on the first kickoff return in the second half. He don't have to be the qb, but he definitely needs touches.
