[Tight End]

Heard from some Buddies that took in the Wayne County game last night, against Bryan Station. Station defeated the Cardinals 35-28 in the 1st of the Roy Kidd Bowl at Madison Central. This game went in to overtime! They said the Defense pulled this game out for Bryan Station!

North Laurel, will have to cut way back on penalties and they will not be able to run one player 20 times in this game and win it. North, has a good Defensive unit and we feel like they will be the difference in the outcome of this particular game.

I have a feeling this is going to be a nail biter but like I did last season I am going to stick with North Laurel in this game in a close one!!

^This. North will have a lot of trouble trying to put up points against average teams this year. They only had 1 actual scoring drive against South, and that was late in the 3rd. 1st score was on the kick return, and the other two was short field scores after South turnovers. The last score was in the final minute when Mr, Class wanted to run up the score. I can't understand why North quit giving Sizemore the ball as much, and kept running the Rodriguez kid.

No woman, you are clueless. When a coach let's it be known that he'll beat a team 100-0 if he can, and refers to a school in the same county as the other school in Laurel county, then yes he's classless. Accomplish something first, and then run your mouth. Too young? North is not young at all.

I can only think of 3 kids that start this year that started in the same position last year. 4 if you count Sizemore, he played wideout last year but RB this season. Offense, Cole, Nick at tight end and Gilpin at tackle. Yes young, the rest played JV last season.

Defense, can only think of Cole and Nick that played D last year, rest are all new. Yet they still shut South out.

The other school, I have heard him call them worse than that when he was at Rockcastle. From the times we have played South at Rockcastle most everyone has grown to dislike them due to the arrogant fans they have and I've seen it in all their sports.

I would also hang it on the fact that South had 32 yards rushing for the game and less than 60 yards for the entire game(TT) Not bad for a young, I mean inexperienced defense in their first game. Don't worry the sky is the limit for the cards, they have no where to go but up.
North will be a work in progress and anyone that thought they could replace everything they lost and not miss a beat is silly but they still did a pretty good job and ran their win total up on south I think its like 8 out of 9 games now North has won. Doesn't look much better either in the coming years, middle school sweep 6th -8th grade to.

Anybody that knows coach Larkey knows he will run that mouth but Its not a bad thing. I like his fire and his willingness to not be politically correct all the time. Politically correct has a tendency to breed a bunch of pus___. From watching just fri nite north has a lot to work on. Did not look very good. If north has that many stupid penalties against Wayne it will be a long nite. Have no idea why he dont run sizemore more. I know he a heck of a blocker but geez get the boy the ball!!!

You sure could not prove it by what you are putting on here that you have nothing against NL! Of course you are going to rub their fans the wrong way, what did you expect??!! Everyone sees what NL's Coach says in the newspapers, but that is the ONLY place I have ever seen him say anything period & most of that is just fodder for spirit for his team, nothing wrong with that at all!
