Well, i dont think anyone can blame a 37 point loss on the refs! I mean c'mon two of pburgs players outscored the entire south floyd team lol but it was a total effort by eveyone tonight from the blackcats...nick mcguire played great defense on ethan johnson tonight, and i believe that is why ethan was getting so mad! i was expecting the behavior to be much worse after the game, but i would have to say the sportsmanship on the floor was well above expected
Now it is time to prepare for the Bobcats...they chanted they wanted us, well they got us! Good luck Blackcats!!!!!

South Floyd never got off the bus tonight. They got down early in the third and rolled over, and then the attitudes kicked in. I knew it'd be a shortcoming for the Raiders if it happened, and it did. I was hoping for a better showing, but it didn't happen. Someone stated earlier, Mason Hall never gave up. He most certainly didn't and I applaud him for that. It was nice to see a senior didn't roll over. One thing that bothered me about SF tonight, I saw a lot of jealousy going around. I don't care what happens, you can't win if the team chemistry isn't there....

Hats off to P-Burg and Coach Crisp tonight. They came in with a solid gameplan and they utilized their big men to perfection. I was impressed with the play of Leslie and Barnett as both of them played very well. SF just didn't have no answer for them in the middle with the early exit of Ryan Little plagued by foul trouble.

To the SF seniors, keep your heads up boys. Some of you guys have experienced some great accomplishments throughout your high school careers. Two All 'A' championships and a couple of district championships. Pretty good feats if you ask me. I know this season has been a rocky one and it wasn't the way you guys wanted to go out, but someone has to lose and unfortunately we were on the receiving end of things tonight. Good game Blackcats and good luck in the championship. Two good teams are going to represent the 58th and this 'Hi-Hat' fan will be pulling for both teams....

Some thoughts on the game.....

The refs sucked for both teams. One minute they would let the teams play, the next they would call touch fouls.

I don't know what game you all saw, but Ryan Johnson got the rim ANYTIME he wanted to. For someone to say that Mike Stephens look like an 8th grader is rediculous. Ryan's crossover broke ankles all night, I don't know why he settled for the three.

Tempers didn't cost South Floyd. The game was already over when Ethan J. and Nick got into it. Prestonsburg just hit all their shots, and South Floyd simply did not. South Floyd had plenty of good looks, the shots just didn't fall.

When Sean Leslie and Lewis play like they did tonight I don't know if there is a team in the 15th Region that can beat them.

Great game Pburg! You guys have a chance to do something really really special. Keep your focus and you can win it all.

Congrats Blackcats, I was in the nosebleeds and they looked VERY tough. One aspect they need to work on is free throws. That's what will cost them in a close game, but after tonight IDK if anyone can play close with them when Lewis and Leslie are on.

Typical Of The Way The Season Went For The Raiders, Get Down And Let It Turn Into A Blowout. Raiders Struggled With Rebounding, Defense, And Discipline All Year. Thought The "t" On Ethan Was Bogus In The 3rd, Have Seen Worst And No Calls Made. I Notice A Great Deal Of Negative Posts From Alfus On Here Concerning Sf, I Would Say After This Game That He Has Found A Natural Viagra- Be Careful Alfus - Remember All That Joy Your Having Can Cause Blisters And Even Blindness!

Just a very shocking game. Only reason is b/c of the deficit, 37 points I mean WOW!. Congrats to P-burg they played a perfect game and the 2nd half was domintaed by the Cats. SF just fell apart and lost there tempers and almost caused 2 fights. Good luck to P-burg v.s. BL

your comments are really uncalled for what right do you have to say those things do you even play basketball or do you sit in the stands , and doesnt bl have a player thats suppose to be a college freshman,
theres a saying ever dog has its day and guess what i dont think sf will be the only one with tears, isnt this the first time in 4 years bl has made it out of the district. they will choke in the region

I am by NO MEANS a South Floyd fan whatsoever, but that statement is uncalled for, childish and immature. The way Pburg played lastnight they would have beat BL just as bad, just be thankful and lucky you played Allen Central in the first round BOBKAT. Hope and Pray that Pburg doesn't play like they did against SF or you will be crying too. You still get to go to regions, but playing against another district winner won't be to fun when you get bounced in the first round.

But as far as this game went south floyd did not wont to win they played like they aint never played basketball befor it was sick to watch i aint never see a south floyd team get beat this bad in the distric in many years........

congrads to pburg they knew all they had to do is get under south floyd's skin and they would go all to hell and it work perfact...#20 for pburg played a really good game tonight....and i dint think lesile missd a shot he played the best game of his life and he played it at the right time....

I am by no means a SF fan either, and I also agree that the statement is a little childish. BUT if P-burg would have won the conference title "played on their home court" I might add, they would have got to play AC in the 1st round instead of BL. BL has won both matches this season, but BOTH teams are playing much better as of now. So I personally think that this will be a good game.
