Thompson is a hell of a ball player!!! Hard nosed, gritty, and tough as nails!!
He finishes great and gives his all! He is a pretty good shot with good range.
May, Just as tough, hardnosed and gritty. Plays better Defense and is a lot better taking people off the dribble. Don't even question his range.
Lowe, The best shooter I have seen in this region in a long while!!! Needs to get more involved in the rest of the game though.
Slone, Keeps going and going and going!!! Not the best at anything but very good at most things and still has 2 plus tears left
Shawn is good, but maybe he seems to be the best to you because he has basically had to carry his team on his very capable shoulders. But the truth is....his team did have a few bright spots, but never really did much else.
Now...if he had carried his team on his shoulders and they went like 17-9, and advanced to the regional...then, heck yeah!!! He da man!! The one and only in the region!!! This didn't happen, and he is considered by everyone as one of the top players in the region!!! That's pretty good!!!

I know he is a center, but Helton is a center as well and recorded 5 assists and I might add, didn't touch the ball near as much as Thompson. So, before you go and put someone head and shoulders above the rest of the region, you need to look at all aspects of their game. Having said this, I want to commend Lawrence Co. for an outstanding season and appologize if I have said something that may have offended someone. To Thompson, you are truly one of the better players in the region, if you haven't received a scholarship yet, some colleges have overlooked a great player. My whole point to this was to have people take a look at all aspects of the game and the game itself. If you look at that and compare this player to the rest of the region, you will see that he needs to be right there with the others, but not ahead of them.You must not have watched very close at all last night. Stat Line reads: 34 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists , and countless blown assists. Shawn passes the ball as well as anyone I have ever seen. I will say on the negative side that he does not shoot well from the stripe.

This is by far THE MOST foolish statement i have ever heard, or read, ANYWHERE! not just here, not just on other chat sites, but ANYWHERE! i mean, i watched Bill Clinton lie to America about "having sexual relations" on television, and this is more ludicrous then that........i tell you what chillywilly, if you truly beleive this, YOU are the one who needs a head examination.....

No question, shawn in the best. They definitely can't carry his water bottle.
As far as last night i'm with batpuff (go ahead, stone me). Worst called game ever. if i was their boss, they'd be fired. I miss the 16th region refs, you could tell they had had some training. I was about to roundhouse kick somebody. If you'd like an example....Chandler Thompson was playing outstanding defense at one point in the game and made the magoffin point guard step back over the halfcourt line and they called a foul on Thompson! Not to mention Mitch Copley taking about 7 charges and only getting 1 or 2 of them.
nevertheless, i suppose the better team won....barely.

That is probably because you are looking through those "maroon and white" glasses. Anyone who is honest knows that there were bad calls that went alot to the MC side. No big deal....it's done and over.
