An all-time classic.

Obviously I'm very disappointed & heartbroken with the outcome.

But congratulations to Belfry, they played a phenomenal game. It could have gotten ugly coming out of the half, but the Pirates came out and battled and made a game out of it.

Congratulations again Pirate Nation.

Classy post! I agree with you, it was an all time classic. Eads, smith, and Burnette did a great job. Teddy is a stand up kid.

Agree that this one was a all-time classic! Worth every penny of the price of admission. Had to be there to appreciate the true meaning of high school sports. Both teams battled all night and you can see why these two teams have respect for one another. The Hawk's have nothing to hang their head about and had a great season.

Congrat's to the Pirates who continue to play with heart and never give up. This team has battled injuries and other issues all season. But when they get it going they are tough to defeat. Hope they can tighten up the FT's shooting to put teams away when needed.

When you've got two rivals who hate each other, each coach lives in the others town, and you know you'll be playing three times from the get go - you expect a good game. We got it.

Nothing but respect for Pike Central's kids... They got after it and kept bringing it and bringing it. We had a nice little chess match in the third OT. This was entertaining as they come.

Congrats to Belfry. Just a huge win for our program. Our kids battled and hit big shot after big shot. Woolum deserves a ton of praise.

5 years to the night after Hobo McCoy's miracle on the mountain, Belfry finally gets to break PC's hearts similar to the way ours got broken that night. Great rivalry.

Congrats to Belfry. Sounds like it was a heck of a game.

Perosonally, I thought the 60th had 3 quality teams. Sad one had to go home and not get a shot at region.

NO.

60th had 1 quality team and two very inconsistent teams that are talented enough to beat anyone, but are lacking in other areas.

Great game, atmosphere was great as far as energy, I am still a little disappointed as far as overall attendance.

Pike Central had way to many chances to win and when the officials were discussing the call at the end, I just felt if it was Belfry's ball they would win.

I am so proud of the Hawks - the players themselves. I had high hopes for this class and last years class, I just could feel a region title one of these two years when most of these kids were in 7/8th grade. Sadly, they didn't happen but they have nothing to hang their head about.

Region, if you are a Hawk supporter, that is news to me. Lol.

Wish I could've been there! Wow.

Congrats to Belfry
