She is a great player but I have watched alot of basketball from around the state and she is in top ten at best, she wouldn't be the talk of eastern ky if she was at a big school and had had to share the ball

Didn't realize being in someone's top ten was so terrible.... she also leads her team in assist so the sharing the ball point is nuts

Also I've been coaching basketball for five years so I don't know near as much as all the college scouts and coaches who have posted on this thread but when your scoring 50 points a game while shooting over 50% I say your not shooting enough..... I guess whitney needs to quit basketball and go to south east because she isn't as good as Erin Boley....

If you read the post before you see people were saying she was the best player in the state and leading jenkins with assist isn't anything g if there is only one assist in the whole game, she may prove me wrong but her style of ball will get shut down next year when she gets to college

It's about 3 a game but who is counting.... I believe Pistol Pete is the only player to every have a high average translate to college. ... Whitney knows she won't average 50 a game in college I believe her game will translate you can't teach natural ability but again I'm just a simple middle school coach not a college guy like the rest of you folk

All these post about her .. You seem kind of jealous of her ability .. Does she play over your daughter and thats why you are downing her? She will do fine at WKU next year and like PGL said she won't score 50 a game. So get over it !!!!!

Mr. And Mrs. Kentucky should not only go to the Senior who has had the best season but also should go to the player that had the best career in KY High School Basketball. Like last year, no one player could prove they outplayed Justice because they didn't....same goes for Creech. Not one senior across the state is outplaying her, not one player is having a better season then her, not one player has had a better high school career then her. She hands down deserves this award!

Boley is the best player in Kentucky. Creech might be 5th best if that overall. These posts show the level of ignorance by fans. Cougarpride08 you embarrass yourself with those twitter posts about UK women. Please stop or at least get out of the mountains to see something besides middle school ball. Jenkins could not beat the best middle school teams in Louisville.

If you took whitney out of the lineup Jenkins could beat the best middle school team in pike county, that's why she is miss basketball she means more to her team then anyone else. In your opinion who is the best middle school team in Louisville? JCTMS? Or would you consider Eastside apart of Louisville as well?

Yes, she IS a great ambassador for Southeastern Kentucky. I couldn't be any more proud of her if she played for HC.

I think everyone in the entire area should support this kid, and be proud of her accomplishment. It isn't often enough that we are so positively represented.

Division 1 basketball scholarships are hard to come by and that's the understatement of the century. WKU coaching staff gets paid to evaluate players and coach players whose success determines whether or not they keep their jobs. I think the fact that they have recruited her and want her there says all that needs to be said of her abilities.
