15th Perry & Lawrence clear favorites but the 13th any of the three could win their region.
Harlan is better coached team but think if Clay can get their players to play D & play hard they are most talented. Prediction Clay wins 13th

My Take on the WYMT
PCC and Lawrence are clear favorites to win in the 14th and 15th..
Right now HC has to be the favorites in the 13th...
Blake Smith is clearly the best PLAYER in the MNTS. No other player is required to do as much as Smith is, in order for his team to win...On both ends of the court.
Carmichael is clearly the best PG in the MNTS. The kid is a true court general and has amazing handles and can score as good as anyone.
I'm gonna say Hoskins has really surprised me with his coaching...PCC is head and shoulders above everyone in the MNTS as far as TEAMS are concerned. Mike Jones is doing a great job at HC...Heckuva young coach...Gonna be a great one.

Obviously Harlan county was the better team the other night. That's why they was playing in the championship. I just think it's silly to put pressure on kids from any of these teams, that they haven't asked for. They're just playing to win and not caught up in "rankings", but the adults make sure they know who is suppose to be the "favorites".

I would argue that the kids on any team around here would love to be the top team in the Mountain Top Ten.

Ole fatpat wants to give some credit to coach Hoskins and his crew. They were tateriffic! Those boys been taking some lessons from their coach. My food was getting soggy at one point due to the 3's raining down and I eat fast. Good job to Perry. More mash taters please!!!

Dunn is as good as Carmicheal. If Dunn shot 30 shots a game like Carmicheal he would put up big numbers like that. And that Back can shoot. Love the hair.

Perry has moved into top 20 at number 16 in bluegrass preps top 20. congrats to perry on a great week.

Carmical took 15 shots against Perry Central
He took 19 shots against South Laurel and scored 32 points.

I think he was exaggerating - but still making a point
Dunn took 25 shots in the entire tournament - Just in the two games you mentioned Carmical took 34

I think Carmical's a good player, Dunn has just been really efficient.
A lot of that has to do with Dunn being able to share the shot attempts with the rest of Perry's team.

I've been on the Perry Central bandwagon since June, but if they had three guards as good as Carmical it wouldn't have been a four-point game.

It was a six-point game, and if not for that debacle in the last minute, that was a double-digit win for Perry.

Perry Central won (yes, by 6) and deserved to win, but you could play the iffin game all night long.
If Harlan County hadn't turned it over five times to start the fourth quarter and got behind by 12, they could have won.
You could take out a bad four-minute stretch for anyone and change the entire game.

Id rather have Dunn any day of the week. Kid dont have the green light like Carmicheal does. Dunn could drop 30 a game easilybif turned loose.

Dunn is a nice player, but isn't close to Carmical. Carmical is the main focus of every team's defense that HC plays, I doubt that Dunn is mentioned as PC top threat. Perry had two on Carmical the entire night. Dunn had one player guarding him and still got outscored (17-6) and outplayed.

I don't know who had him listed at 6'2" like you said but I'm 6'3" and I look up at him. I'd say he's about 6'5"
#44
Hes close to 6'4

Dunn hasnt had the red carpet rolled out to him like others have. Could been a star from the get go.

The Black Bears really didn't have an answer for Damon Tobler, but they never let up and were still in it until the last minute or so.

Man Damon Tobler would looked good in a Corbin Redhounds football Jersey Confusederiously:

I really enjoyed the tournament this year. There was a nice balance of teams. The consolation games were high quality games. Congrats to the Commodores for taking home the banner.

Dores are back at the top in the 14th.Safe to say they are the forerunners to take the regional title.Congrats.
