I simply give numbers. Since you've seen every team in the state, it would be great to have input from someone who has first hand knowledge of the entire state. Most of us in East Kentucky don't have to travel more than 100 miles to see a game. Two state champions and one state runners up came from East Kentucky, pretty good for not more than 100 miles between them.:Thumbs:

Its a good list. You need to add one on defense.. Either D-Line or LB.. I also would replace Murray and Young on Offensive Line with Will Ulmer and Blake Asher.. Just my opinion though..

Pupaw does have a very good list. There are many young men statewide worthy of nomination. Many players from Eastern Kentucky can and DID hold their own with boys from other parts of the state.

What also needs to be considered in the K spot is how many touchbacks Pack and the young man from Belfry kicked this season. Not sure that statistic is kept though.

I tried to check that stat for Woolum from Belfry but couldn't find it. I do know that the coachs dictate as to where he is to kick it in a lot of games. He can consistently put them in the end zone.

First thing that blows my mind is how in every team picked across the state, they seem to be missing Mayfield's Kicker/Punter, Sidney Herndon. The kid was the best kicker, punter that we saw in the last three weeks of football. Yes, we saw Johnson from DeSales. He did a good job, but, I would take Sidney any day. He also holds a new Mayfield school record with a 49 yard field goal against OC in the Regional finals. He also holds the Mayfield record for longest punt at 70+ yards at Russellville in 2014. He routinely kept other teams backed up all year by kicking the ball into the endzone. Most teams always started their drives from the 20. He also kicked the game winning extra point in Bowling Green against Williamsburg for the state championship in 2014. I don't get it.
