The district tournamnets are right around the corner. In this thread predict the district winners as well as your prediction of the 15th region champion!

59th district- Shelby Valley

Belfry and Paintsville have continued to play in baseball even after that incident...and...that was started by fans....not players...they weren't barred from playing..they just had a mutual agreement to not schedule for a few years...and that was also when Belfry was under a different head coach..and that makes a difference..

thanks for the info... didnt know the legistics behind it... thats just what the administration told us...

Id say it is the perferct atmoshphere....i mean its like a mini Rupp...it will allow the players to get used to a college court while also playing in a big arean like that....im saying this will b a tournament to remember......Thats gonna be a wild first round game between Pburg and South Floyd...someone is going home early...

i know SS4 in the 58th the last couple of years it has been South Floyd V.S. Prestonsburg in the finals of the district tourney well not this year they meet in the 1st round

You may be right but I don't know about the atmosphere. I've heard the Expo Center seats 8,000 people. I don't think it will be anywhere near full for the finals or semi finals. I think the atmosphere is better when a gym looks full. Plus I think the big court actually hurts because it takes away a good pressing teams advantage.
