This thread might make a run at the top 5 threads on this site. Lol. I know how to stir it up a little more. Keep in mind, folks, this is just goosing the thread along:

There was a tweet or two about Kash limping heavily about midway through the Paris game and then coming back in with a brace on. Is he ok? Serious question.

Pikeville has now shut down the #1 and #4 1A rushers and #5 and #8 passers in the playoffs. Coach Mac and staff have done an excellent job game planning and the players have executed to perfection. Hoping we continue to execute. Toughest test is coming up.

I've been saying this since last meeting. Pikeville gets revenge and gets to go to bowling green with big brother belfry. 28-27 Panthers!

Your toughest test will be in Bowling GreenSmile

Toughest test SO FAR I guess I should have said. Not counting our chickens before they hatch. Confusednicker:
Quote me some more stats. That always tells the tale.Confusednicker:

They don't tell the whole story, but stats DO tell a story. The story I get from looking at them is, for all the chest thumping from teams in the East, Pikeville and Paintsville have shown they are the two best defenses in the East regardless of stats. My goodness. Y'all put 48 on a team that was out scoring their opponents by 25 a game AND held them 8 points below their scoring average. People can say what they want, but Paris was a good team. A little overhyped yes, but still a good team overall. Same with Hazard. A good and well coached team, and they had a total of 107 yards of offense, with most coming on their lone TD drive that was aided by two penalties. Bottom line is, whoever comes out of the East will be a worthy representative and will rep us well. I'm just hoping its Pikeville.
I feel like these two teams are very equally matched. Hopefully I'll be back in town to catch that game because it'll be one of the best ones yet. I'm pulling for Paintsville, but it's very hard to beat any good team twice in one year. I think Pikeville wins this one by 7.

I am. I hope I'm right :biglmao:
If both teams are relatively healthy....Paintsville takes it again....
Pikeville 21-20...

PHS with a great question, I saw the same thing. Does monumental melons have any info on this ? We left after Paintsville went up 21-0 in the first qtr
Paris was a mud hole. Players were slipping and falling everywhere. No injuries that I know of but I had a busy weekend and didn't get to check up on anything. My son and a couple of his buddies caught colds this weekend. Don't know if was from the conditions Friday or conditions deer hunting Saturday and Sunday. Kash wasn't limping after the game.:truestory:

You are correct ginormous melons, Pikeville starters holding Hazard to 62 total yards doesn't necessarily tell the tale that the defense played lights out...my bad for arriving at that conclusion!Confusednicker: I need to wait until you break the film down, the numbers could be misleading...TongueirateSho
He must have gave it a little twist. He had a couple times he tried to take off running along with a LOT of players Friday night and his feet slipped out from under him. He did throw a brace on for a while but come 4th QT Himself and a few other starters got to come out and get some extra rest. After the game he looked good. Good thing with being 17-18yrs old and in great physical condition a week in between games is usually enough time for bumps and bruises to heal up! My self anymore I would need 6 months of physical therapy after one of these games!

Pikeville starters shutting Hazard out tells the story, the stats give more detail of just how dominating the defense was.TongueirateSho
Most important word "was".

Honestly after hearing from a few Paintsville diehards, and reading the tweets I think PHSForever is onto something. Kash didn't play denfese in the second half

I hope he is healthy. I don't wish injury on anyone. Just had to ask the question after seeing the tweets. Save for here, I don't really have any contacts down Paintsville way, so it was just curiosity. I'm sure Pikeville will plan for him to be there on both sides of the ball.

Rumored that passers by saw him on crutches at the field. Didn't see this myself. Just barber shop talk.

Being serious here. Want Pikeville to win but don't want Kash to be hurt in any form or fashion.
Monumentally ginormous melons where you at ?
I'm trying to sell some booze. No word on Kash right now.
My son said it was Coach Kinner on the crutches at practice yesterday.

Save back a little wild Turkey for me. That will keep me good and warm at BG. Seriously though, hope Kash is ok. He's one heck of an athlete.
