Lexington Catholic @ Louisville central
#1
Kentucky's big city 3A teams play Lexington vs. Louisville. Who do you got?
#2
Central wins 21-20 overtime. Catholic goes for 2, and does not get it.
#3
Central sends another team to the basketball locker room. Welcome to 3A LC. Central 28-17

Central by 1. Should be a great game.

SHould be a dandy.

LexCath has the athletes and offense to create issues for Central and negate some of their usual advantages.

With that said, Central is man's town up front and that really isn't LC's forte.

Central takes it late.

LC has as good a chance as anybody else in the west, but I'm going with Central.

Central in a tight one.

LexCath by 3.

I don't think lex Caths athletes will have time to get open consistently. They'll probably hit a couple big plays for scores but in the end I think central wins.

Knights by a touchdown!

Hard to pick Central still yet knowing they lost to Knox.

Lex Cath FTW.
#14
It was even harder picking Belfry last year knowing they lost to Pikeville
#15
Going with Central

Speed on the turf

They beat some good teams

Game is at Central not LexCath, FWIW

Tough game to pick

Would be shocked to see a barn burner or either team win going away.

Usually the team that wins in the trenches wins...so on that note I will take Central

We want Central

The Knox loss means nothing to me. Especially who was refereeing the ball game.

This is probably going to be the best game in 3A this weekend. Lex Cath has THREE QBs who can start and as long as Ogbogu is there to throw the ball to, it doesn't matter which one of the three is starting. They have all the tools needed to win this game. The problem they face is that this game is at Central, in November and the Yellow Jackets find ways to win games with a nasty defense. If you are a passing team Central will have at lease one pick. I don't know enough about Lex Caths rushing game to know if they can keep Central off balance. The formula to beating Central is ball control and trench warfare. If you rely on airing it out you will most likely get beat (in the most heartbreaking fashion)

I can't pick a winner in this one because it could go either way.

That meant nothing to Central. As long as Bates was refereeing Knox hard to beat.

Central wins by a couple td's and shows the news comers who's the 3A best of the west.

Central welcomes the other new comer to 3A.

This time of year Central is just hard to beat and this game being in Louisville makes it that much harder... like Central by 16

Black Friday shocker, LexCath stuns Central 28-27

Central has forced 38 turnovers this year. They have put up a bunch of points off those turnovers. The key is can Catholic avoid those mistakes.
