Hoping they don't need them but also hoping they heal very quickly.

with the way Rowan played Scott it shouldn't matter. Hopefully they play just to shake off some rust for the big one the following week.

Baker and O'Bryan should sit out if injured at all. Brown is capable of carrying the load. I think Ashland wins if they play or not, so I would rest them and try to get them to 100% for Johnson Central.

I don't wanna see Ashland win, but if they do and JC wins... that means JC gets another home playoff game.
But I LOVE LaRosa's pizza.

However if this game gets close I'm sure it will be because the officials are cheating Ashland and I'm sure Dickie Martin will be cheering when opposing players get hurt. That's just how classy he is.

I don't have any news personally to share on Baker or O'Bryan - how healthy is Scott? Didn't they have some key pieces out or get injured vs. Rowan?
I'd like the Tomcats to win but I'd prefer any win to be vs a mostly-intact team even more...

Does it really matter who wins? Either team is going to be bulldozed by JC

Because 8-7 was bulldozed?

It was played at putnam. That about sums it up. JC will have their way if Ashland can make it to a rematch

I actually like our chances to break a couple long ones at JC's palace by the strip mall more than at Putnam! I also don't think Matney knew he wouldn't have an answer for our D - went for two because he knew he wouldn't get another shot. At least you can get ready for the Tomcats this week since you'll blow by GCHS, right?
Anyway to give props as due, y'all beat us at our place so JC has earned the right to host & be favorites. Both teams take care of business this week, stay healthy, and then we can just check the scoreboard after the game we both want.

I'm just clowning around. I expect it to be a hell of a game. I was just getting a little rise out of a few people that attacked Belfry's eligibility on another thread

Considering the yellow flag flew every time JC made a big play... I say it was a good 3 TD game made a 1 point game.

Wasn't Ashland penalized more in that game?

Ashland is going to be short handed this week. Hopefully this team will play some inspired Football and get the W. 35-20 Tomcats!!!!

They're running out of time to get healthy before the big rematch. That's provided both teams win and advance.
