Greenup County, you guys have come from a laughing stock to getting a win in playoffs.
I'm glad to see that District 8 kicked some District 7 tail Friday night. Not only that, our district is getting better year by year.

2007 was the last time Greenup County had a Playoff win, that year, they went to the Regional Finals in Class 4A & lost to Harrison County 30-31.

Greenup has a good defense. I don't think it'll be enough to beat Johnson Central, but I don't think it will be a running clock game. With a timely turnover or two, this could be a good game.

Eagles only play freshman Friday night to get everyone healthy for upcoming rematch with Ashland. Greenup has absolutely no chance even against the JC freshman. Matney has already started working on his game plan for Ashland. Hope no one gets injured in this game. Good luck to both teams in this meaningless playoff matchup.

There are some small Mom & Pop stores in town that have gear.
The Hibbett Sports usually carries JC gear as well.

If all else fails, contact the school @ 606-789-2500. I'm sure they have some stuff available as well.
