First prayers for officer Ellis...Turns out the man responsible for shooting officer Ellis was sentenced to 10 years for manufacturing methamphetamine but was paroled after just serving 3 years of his sentence., I guess he would qualify as a so called non-violent drug dealer....Get ready to see more of this sort of thing in the very near future....

Those that would judge drug dealing as non-violent, has probably never seen someone OD on meth or bath salts.

When there is 100% proof of what happened, just as in this case, we should skip the legal process and let the tax payers pay for 1 bullet instead.

He let Officer Ellis walk right into that room knowing he was waiting with a gun. Just take them out back, bullet to the back of the head, Chinese style death penalty.

I work right across the street from the buildings where this happened. I'm not sure how it happened other than one of the guys tried robbing a lady at a gas station, then they left, the driver was caught and booked and told the police where the other 3 where at. The gunman told the other 2 that if the cop came in that he was gonna shoot him, the other guy told officer Ellis that no one was in the house and let him in to search it, Officer Ellis went to the back of the house into a room where he was shot.
I'm not sure how it happened, I was told once Officer Ellis walked through the door the guy shot him then I was told that Officer Ellis started to walk out of the room and the guy shot him.
Talking with some of the people at work today and they believe that the gunman and the get-a-way driver will get the same penalty while the others, not so much. If they don't get the death penalty, then their is something bad wrong...
Unless I heard incorrectly, the bond for the gunman is 1.2 million.
Take 'em out back, stand behind then and pull the trigger.
