Paintsville fans are not involved in this silliness. Most Paintsville fans are actually quite humble, gracious, and realistic. Some folks in all fan bases like to crow. It's just their nature.

Pulp, you have lost your mind. I agree, Paintsville may put a running clock on the teams mentioned in the first two or three rounds, but it's not happening with Pikeville or Beechwood. IMO, Pikeville outplayed Paintsville during their first matchup, only to turn the ball over at a crucial point in the game. So, how can you honestly sit there and say, that Paintsville will put a running clock on Pikeville. As far as Beechwood goes, Paintsville will be lucky to play within a td of Beechwood, if they make it past Pikeville. Don't get me wrong, I will be pulling for an Eastern Kentucky team, but Beechwood is "another animal". With that being said, Pulp, you may have heard the old saying "Don't count your chickens before their hatched".

Lordy Mercy!!! I go on a one night business trip and stay off BGR and look what happens!!! One game at a time. The goal is obvious. 5 steps to get there. You can win no games on last weeks laurels. We will worry about next week when it is next week. This season was built by hard work last winter, spring and summer by some fine young men and coaches. They are the ones that will determine the outcome. Not some geniuses on BGR. Paintsville has a chance to go all the way. It is all up to them(Tiger players and coaches) and not us or any other teams history.

State Titles in Boys Golf, Baseball, Boys Basketball & Class 1A football for the smallest school in the 15th region is a big statement.

JC is the largest school in the 15th region and we've never won a team state athletic title.

That's all good and well but that Williamsburg team is definitely not the same one that played in the past two title games. Paintsville is good this year there is no denying that but the first round of the playoffs hasn't even started yet and you are already declaring them State Champions?? Yes the Tigers have beaten a few good teams but if they don't bring home the hardware none of that really matters does it? As I said before if you think Paintsville is going to walk all over teams deep in the playoffs them you will be sorely disappointed.

Pikeville is having 'Trouble in Paradise'..... or so that is what the Grapevine has told me. The State Semi-Finals will be a running clock.

The state finals vs. Beechwood might be a running clock as well. You will go in to the state finals with four EASY wins in the playoffs.
And let's be real..... Beechwood is not the Beechwood of old.

This team might be the first team in Class 1A history to put a running clock on every team they play in the playoffs.
