I like this question better than the original post!
Pike county team by a land slide? How many high schools are in Johnson co. And how many is in pike co.?
#65
But for the original post jc would still roll the Tigers. Let's not get silly and pick much smaller schools to beat the beast of the mountains!!!
#66
Hahaha this is what I envisioned when I started this thread.:devilflam
#67
The best team in Johnson County was usually Highlands when they played there :biglmao:

Nah, we were never much on coaching. We are experts in hydration though. Maybe water boys?

If the chips fall in place could the city of Paintsville be host 2 regional championship games on the same night?

If Kash dad don't make the mistake of leaving his daughter at paintsville he would be playing at Pikeville when he tryed to transfer

Take of the other 7 players from Johnson central that came to tigers with out one protest

Tigers don't win a game

And the way paintsville high school done the the freshman who came back to Johnson central your sorry bunch but no big deal I think the next time a kids try to switch to paintsville to play I think they will have set out a year

After you loose you senior class this year are you going to drop football program because looking like the stables are getting little low

It will start next year tigers probably go 5 wins 5 loss
Year 3 tiger 3 wins 7 loss already heard you guys were trying to get out the team from Virginia contract ,

:disappoint:

You know nothing Eagle 2011.

No. Paintsville is in Region 3 and JC is in Region 4. No matter of seed, the odd regions host the semis in odd years and the even regions host semis in the even years. Seed does not matter
#76
Ok here a better :pondering: belfry play Shelby valley
Johnson central play paintsville
This Friday let's make it happen Haywood gave the ok he like beat on Shelby valley
TongueirateSho
One last time for all the fans let's get some tigers ears
#77
Without a doubt...Johnson Central. There shouldn't even be a question......

My wife's grandpa used to love to come over and aggravate the kids to death, get them all riled up till they drive you crazy, and then walk out the door with a grin on his face from ear to ear.

Are ya happy now, JP?

When you dress 85 players there should be no way a team that dresses 43 could win consistently. It's a matter of numbers. Paintsville has 10 seniors, 10 juniors, 11 sophomores and 13 Freshman. I think they are well coached and should be competitive in class 1A for a few years to come. Sorry Eagles2011 you are going to have to put up with us for a few more years.:biglmao:
#80
Even a small school like Paintsville can have a better year than JC once out of about 15 years. Paintsville has a special team this year. JC is very very good. I would pick the home team in this one if they played this year.
#81
How many NFL players have come out of Pike County?

That is why I asked if the chips fall in place, if each team faces someone from their own district in the Region final both would be the host I thought being the 1 seed.

Sorry I read it incorrectly. Yes each could host the regional finals at home as long as the #1 seed from the opposing district doesn't make it as well

Elmer Highstep Wrote:Who is better, a Johnson County all-star team or a Pike County all-star team? My money is on JC.

Pike has Belfry, east ridge, Shelby valley, pike central, Phelps, and if you want to include Pikeville.
Johnson just has central and paintsville.

I'd take pike just based off numbers.

Now to answer the thread question. Central would beat paintsville by 35. Just because central played a close game with Ashland doesn't mean paintsville would play them close. So stop being delusional. Ashland and Johnson are 1&3 in 4A in my opinion.
#85
As I said before Paintsville has the best 1A team in Johnson County and Johnson Central has the best in 4A.

JetPilot has suckered the masses again, well done JP :1: I'll see you in Grundy tomorrow :ChairHit:

I really do cheer for the tigers it's just a dirty shame how the person responsible for protesting on a freshman kid when he wanted to come back to Johnson central so which every person who knocked the kid out football and probably sports his whole freshman year is a sorry piece of s--- because matney let belcher leave last year no problem
#89
It wasn't Matney's call to let Damian play or not. Just like it's not Paintsville's call if the kid could play at JCHS. Blame KHSAA rules. For your information. Kash Daniels was not allowed to play at Pikeville by KHSAA. They would not release him to play. Get your facts straight.
#90
Best way to fix this situation with our freshman is just to not sign the agreement moving forward. In a few short years the whole county would be Eagles!
Lol
😁
Just kidding
