here we go, and im not sure at all yet who we (Fairview) would like to see win? will all the hype, bad losses claimed by the orange I still gotta stay with the tigers on this one. if only by looks. yes ive seen them both play and I gotta say Paintsville is a little more physical than raceland. also the secondary for raceland is suspect. but Paintsville punting also special teams is their weak point. somehow if the rams could expose that. or come after a punt and block, special teams miscue then maybe rams steal this one!!

Raceland will have 24. They get 8 from west, 1 East Carter, 5 from Greenup, 7 From Lawerence, 3 from Portsmouth west. ( but will get 1 more to make 25 because they got a winless team there playing).

The 1 seed would boil down to the teams on Paintsvilles schedule. Even if Paintsville get beat tonight and beat Shelby Valley the week after they would have the 1 seed.
For Raceland to get the 1 they have to win out and hope Paintsville losses out.
Don't forget that Raceland plays Russell next week who has a pretty good record. A win tonight could make next week mean much more than bragging rights against our crosstown rival. Obviously we have to get it done tonight or else all the football math doesn't mean too much.
On another note, this is likely the first game of two between the teams because a playoff rematch is a good possibility. Will the winning team be at a disadvantage the second time around? I have seen several instances where the winning team in games like this only come back to lose the second time around even if the first game was a blowout (i.e.Paintsville vs. Pikeville 2014 and Raceland vs. Pikeville 2012).
