This game drove me to drinking nicker: Woods killed us, but we got the stops when we needed too.

That will continue to dominate Whitley in every single way from here on out until the end of time unless someone takes the heads out of the asses and hires some coaches that have actually won.
Enough sad.
I hear basketball season calling my name. By football.

Well, we have already won more games than we did all last season. I am so proud of this team, and how hard they've worked. They never gave up tonight, and fought back every single time.
Great job Bears.
Great job Bears.

This team doesn't give up. They've had two shootouts in a row now, they never folded in either one. They dug down deep tonight and got a stop when it counted most, then took the ball on a 5 minute drive and only leaving WC with less than a minute left.

Congrats Black Bears. Awesome win

Good job Bears!
I would be lying if I didnt say after the Belfry and JC games that I couldn't see them putting up 50 on anyone they played the rest of the way.... they are clearly starting to find their groove though!

Bears fans I told you woods was worth the price of admission. Did he prove me right?

Yeah he gashed our D pretty good. Not sure of his stats, i don't think he had 300 passing but dang close, and not sure how many rushing.

Colonels are young and have to get more players that can play on both sides of the ball.

I'm still waiting to see the stats for woods and Cornett. Those two put on a show last night.

Only a few more weeks of Luke Legend at Whitley. Colonel fans need to make sure they get out and support him and the Colonels the rest of the year.

only a few more games left and his football playing days will be over. He is a great kid and has sure been fun to watch.

Pretty sure this win wrapped up the two seed and a home playoff game for the Black Bears. Even if they lose to Perry Central (they won't) to finish 2-2 in the district, they would win the head-to-head tiebreaker over Letcher or Whitley, they only teams that could tie them. That means they'll probably get Lincoln Co. in the first round, a very winnable game. Hope it happens for them, they have really made strides this year.

If I did, I'd schedule Chappell.
