Last time North visited Perry Central was 2 yrs ago. JAGS came in looking for first playoff win and would have got it but on first Offensive series had the air totally knocked out of them. In one play lost Sr Lineman Zac Abner with hurt knee and Sr Runningback Gabe Blair with broke ankle plus Sr Quarterback Michael Nelson wasn't 100 % with ankle problems himself. Hope all that bad karma is gone from there!!!

Larkey Bowl III: JAGS coming in fresh off of being District Champs!! Could this be a trap game?? Pay attention JAGS don't lose your focus!! Defense looked great vs Letcher with some very hard hits and Offense just kept doing what they have done all season. I say Coaches have them coached up and ready as the JAGS go 9-0! Here's to an injury free game with North 42 & PCC 14. God Bless & Go JAGS

Someone said the other night all those Seniors have been together thru Jr High. Same for the good Sophomores, all North kids. Wonder what football team from Laurel County has the best record? I don't know their history in football there. Late comer here.

If the Jaguars lose this one, don't get on here to read the posts after the game.

It was a mess the last time Perry beat them.
#14
If I remember right a cop had to head up to the press box after some parents got into it with an assistant that let his emotions get the best of him.

Let's make sure we get this right. Yes one of the North Coaches got fired up over a play, but didn't say anything negative about the Perry Central kid. The Perry Central parent and or fans took it all as aimed at their kid. Yes some law came up to the press box to check on the situation. When they got there they knew one of the North coaches, which is in Law Enforcement and everything was handled. Everything was really and truly a miss understanding, no harm no foul.

Give credit where and when credit is due. Coach Chris Larkey and his staff have done a great job with the North program from top to bottom. No recruiting, just hard work.

Thanks, for the explanation, figured it was something like that. With those kids getting hurt so bad, emotions bound to be running high. Happens along best any team can do.

I don't see that happening unless their QB ends up @ Whitley County! Ha ha ha - had to get that in one more time! (Joke). Those Sophomores this year are hard core - tuff as nails group!
