I think Towles done what we all know he does and has been talked about for two years on here....

Suck
Good
Suck

Suck

Thankfully EKU is coming up.

But when you are a 4th year junior consistency shouldn't be the issue. He may or may not get it right, but some of us are tired of hearing how talented someone is but their stats say otherwise, let's not forget all the excuses that's been used for his poor performances. The next 5 games will tell us everything, if he can't be accurate then yes it's time for a change. Anyone can go out there and throw more picks then Touchdowns. I'll let his stats do the talking and see what happens. If you want to argue with his poor stats by all means do, we all like a good laugh.

Not to mention we beat a South Carolina team that may be the worst team Spurrier has ever coached.
Plus a Missouri team that struggle horribly against bad teams to start the year, including last weeks toughy against UCONN where they won 9-6

I don't think anyone is getting on any bandwagon when the realist look at it and see that it may be more about the SEC East being that bad than it is UK being good. A good team will beat Missouri by 30.

Next up, the Jacks Spare Tire Bowl :1:

My exact thoughts as well watching that one.

Oh and quit running the DAMN draw plays already.

Seriously, just stop. Please stop it. Its madness.

There is Mr glass is half full.

How's your one true love doing? Good thing he picked up that win over Samford.

You are correct, for the exception of three teams the SEC just isn't very good this year. look how they are dropping from the top 25. It's weird that all seem to be having the same problem as well, no QB's.

Such negativity.
#39
Nah, not negativity just truth.
#40
Guys let me remind you, we are not to far removed from Jalen Whitlow playing QB...Patrick is a upgrade....
#41
Not truth. Opinion.

It's opinion that the SEC is down? Wow. I can't even respond to this guy any longer. He's clueless. Now for the other UK fans that actually know something about football instead of someone that should be a girls volleyball fan, EKU losing a player to a car accident will ease up some of the bad blood going into this weekend. Looking at the new depth chart JOJO gets the start over Boom at RB, also the offensive line will have different starters this week. EKU will want to win for their fallen teammate but with JOJO at RB there will be a lot of pounding the ball down EKU's throat.

Jo Jo deserves the start at RB....

For the last few years the SEC has been flip flopped from where it traditionally has been. The West has been really really good and the East has struggled. This year the West is pretty good (Ole Miss and LSU) with the East slightly improved (who knows how good Florida can be and Gawga is rolling). The bottom line is for two years nobody in the East has been able to find a way to beat Mizzou (Especially when Mizzou is on the road). To be the best you have to beat the best and although UK isn't quite there yet they just knocked off the two time defending SEC EAST champions.

Got this off KSR...
UK has the fifth most explosive offense in college football, with 10.1% of their plays going for at least 20 yards. Baylor is the most explosive offense with 13.3%, followed by Ole Miss
#47
I saw that, too. I'm still reading it trying to understand.
:beerwez:

Can't argue with stats, but it just doesn't FEEL like that.

Of course, where UK is concerned (football and basketball), I want them to jump to a fifty point lead and never give up a point!!

It's got to be clear that the SEC isn't at the level overall that it has been, the way teams have struggled much more than usual in their non-conference games. Alabama looks somewhat down, Auburn is way down, Vandy has gone back to being Vandy since Franklin left, Arkansas is a huge disappointment, Miss. St. looks pretty good, but not at last years level, Missouri sort of the same, South Carolina looks pretty bad. That's half the league right there. Still a really strong league overall, just not the juggernaut it has been. I mean which SEC team right now makes you confident they will be in the four-team playoff.
You're right, Kemp does deserve the start, he was great in the second half Saturday, just hope Boom keeps a good attitude, still our most explosive threat.

Yeah Stoops is meeting with Boom today, apparently he wasn't happy after the game Saturday night.

Evidently Boom pouted some after the game, Stoops will handle it...Bottom line is we need Boom, Kemp and Horton, some nights the other guy may get more snaps get over it and move on...

Yeah I agree.

We are only a couple of years removed from Joker. Enjoy the moment.

You can't respond because all you have is an opinion and you can't logically substantiate that your opinion is more valid than mine.

I love women's volleyball. It's those shorts man.

As far as the argument goes you need to stay on track. Yours keeps changing. It's gone from Towles sucks to stats to the SEC sucks. Your all over the place.

Kentucky is not yet where they should be, but they have a "good" team this year. I'm glad to see Barker getting the start in the next game.
#55
He's not starting.
#56
Boom williams not practicing. Coach Stoops said he's dealing with personal issues. He's also removed everything UK from his twitter account. Guess he can't handle not being the starter Saturday. Hope they get it worked out but if not we have very capable backs.
#57
He did leave University of Kenrucky student athlete on his Twitter page. Just changed the pictures.

If he is going to pout about being moved on the depth chart to the point where he actually starts talking about leaving, then go ahead and kick him off now.

It may be cliché but the best players always get better during these times. They don't cry and pout.

The rumor mill is crazy. It's everything from lack of playing time to he just found out he's going to be a dad and it's screwing with his head Confusednicker: so who knows.

He should be against EKU. I see now he is just going to get playing time.
